Why would he sign a new contract when he wasn't even on the bench for all those games until Martin got desperate ... Not sure hell want to sign a contract to stay in the Championship when he will likely have offers from better leagues. Even if he goes on a free Leicester will get compensation and a likely tribunal if he goes to an English club. If he is still starting at the end of the season, will LCFC sell him or hope he signs a new contract in his final year when we get promotion and risk only getting compensation???

He'll not want to be sat in the stands for the rest of the season... Showcase yourself on loan and get a permenant move in the summer somewhere where you are wanted but not somewhere who is desperate for a half season (as Jan moves).

Rudkin needs to grow a pair and tell Marti he's going on loan in January if he isn't going to play him (clearly he isn't and Souttar will be above him when he returns) ... Hierarchy clearly thought he would be played otherwise they would have let him go on one of the loan offers they had and were/are too weak to tell Marti. His agents are probably continuing to keep an interest in him up for loan or sale. He won't get a loan in his last year so they need to get him out in Jan, sell him in the summer or make him sit in the stands and let him walk for compensation only. I'm not sure why he would sign another contract unless he was actually playing most games.
