Nah there is nothing tangible at all about any of it. They will count their own "pats on the backs" I guess and carry on. The club call all shots. It's so flawed in every way. Even the recruitment to it required nothing apart from if the club liked you. I asked the Trust to ensure there was some sort of spec for the places available and for those applying to ensure it was all fair and relevant but Alan Digby and Ian shot this down / ignored these requests at least 4 times in group chats. Anything that required any accountability was obviously going to cause the Club et al issues as they wanted to hand pick the people to include a selection of favourites or those that least likely to cause any real challenges. The club also worked with the Trust to get the FSA involved to "give some transparency to the process". While the FSA were involved the club didn't buy in until the FSA promised to use LCFC as an example of best practice to other clubs. It'll look good on Anthony and Imogens CV's etc. Initially the FAB formation was looked at the season we went down but once relegated the Club didn't continue with it as it isn't an EFL requirement. The Trust did agree with me that this showed it wasn't a priority and I asked them to pull away from it until it was clear this wasn't just a vanity project for the club. They didn't. Once we were back up to the EPL the Club hand was forced and they had to do something due to regulations, but then went on to continually fail to meet their own summer deadlines and promises to the Trust in delivering any outlines of their fan engagement strategy. During this time (ironically) Anthony and Susan said FE and FAB was a "priority" and the Trust just nodded along and let them off the hook. Again I asked them to step away from it all as I could see so many flaws in the "FE framework", @foxinsocks was the same I believe. They didn't. In short (which I am terrible at I know), the FAB and the format approved is a Trust endorsed, club led vanity project with power handed to those at the club. As a result of its format @Foxes_Trust , @Union FS and the other groups now have even less say than before. *parklife*

Exactly all of this 100%, but they live in fear and swear by “it’s better to have some conversation than none” to quote Steve, who I respect but disagree with on this point. The reality is, there is no conversation. Only listening to what the club want to say. I’ve just emailed this to them as I’m also confused and concerned with everything that has happened

I think your efforts are brilliant BTW, you know that. Another huge challenge is now Ian has let the club create the clubs perfect FAB unchallenged (and mariculously found his own place on it by not upsetting Anthony during the process) the FT, UFS etc have now lost any voice at all. Everything, as we saw from the pathetic trust statement on Friday goes back to the FAB "are now putting the pressure on". The Trust are even further behind now but it's the same BS. This summer was a monumental f**k up by the club and by the trust. I would still suggest there are people in the trust who have absolutely abused their board positions, have completely ignored the trusts aims all for self-gain, incompetence or just CBA. The Trust board need holding to account for that, for letting the club engineer that kind of FAB, they too need an internal investigation and need to stop hiding behind "we are just volunteers" Would love to hear from @Foxes_Trust on how all these "aims" have progressed over the last 24,18, 12 and 6 months. Should be an easy little project that.

The battle you’ll have mate amongst many others is attracting people on the basis they’ll be listened to. They absolutely won’t be. My short stint is a perfect example of the trust not wanting to listen or wanting a solution. They just want to be perceived as “putting the pressure on” in some pathetic Pochettino-esque way. In the summer when the club were shafting us all on crap communications and anything to do with FE, as they bumbled their way through constructing an utterly flawed FE strategy the trust had access to all of my “CV” as you put it. I even offered to speak to Anthony and Imogen directly but Ian et al didn’t want that. So the desire for expertise is not there unfortunately. You know the rest more than most but don’t be fooled by thinking those donuts will listen and don’t take the flack on here either for their incompetence when it comes to “holding the club accountable” as they describe in their aims.

I just wish there was someone with a lifetime of supporting LCFC and a decade of Fan Engagement and Communications experience in football that would apply to the Trust. Can’t be many of those types about but it’s exactly the sort of person they could do with listening to…

Good to see Pride being allowed to hand leaflets to supporters today. The club must have relaxed their “no mass flyering” stance after not allowing UFS to do what they asked to do with this drive.

Season Ticket / Membership renewals for 25/26

Your points stay as long as you don’t change supporter number, which you won’t. -
Never going to beat this lot, it just becomes a nightmare when you have to start picking up points from games like this. Zero points for trying hard unfortunately.
-
Well, that was a thing and you know it, why else would it be raised. There’s loads of other points and challenges raised on here in your @‘s or in those group chats from way back in the summer if you’d care to give those some of your late night attention. Before I get another email and phone call, none of this is personal, it’s just holding those accountable in senior positions who have let the club manipulate the trust and it’s members for far too long, for what can only be perceived as self-gain / to be in the know.

The @Foxes_Trust need a comms strategy. God knows what that sub group have been doing for months now but this is basic stuff. Whacking stuff on Facebook and its own site before emailing the members with the details is pretty basic stuff. They should be ensuring that all members have a chance to read it (on email) first and not hoping it’s picked up on some third party app.

I just meant it’s bizarre that the trust chairman at the time would let this be a thing. A total contradiction from what the trust claim to be about. That said nothing was challenged for years to enable him to get a place on the FAB and even closer to Anthony.
-
Very similar to the club publicly saying they show the fans their finances when the reality was they only showed Ian Basin but he wasn’t allowed to tell or show anyone else at the trust 🤣. Yes that’s a thing.

You can only do so much mate and you’ve just walked in the door. You’re a very, very decent guy and there for the right reasons. Don’t take the flack for this mess those before you have engineered. This is their hangover and this whole statement and situation is embarrassing for them. The trust can only be treated the way they let themselves be treated.

Nah not at all. Playing the “we listen” , “we’ve even had more meetings than normal” cards. Easy PR wins by the club to those they can make dance by tickling their tummies. Meetings that have concluded zero and that IMO should not have been entertained by any fan groups/ fans with the FAB and club in such states. Don’t forget the club haven’t created these FE groups for us fans, but purely because they have to by EPL regulations and because the FSA promised to flash this “best practice” to all other clubs if the club played ball. The club played ball, but with their own ball and the Trust let it all happen.

Unsure what to make of it. Some words are better than none? or a completely cowardly way to say they won't be shouting at the club tomorrow (ever) because the club have promised to come back to them on something again and don't want to jeopardise that.....again....! I'm not convinced the trust should even be giving the club or the FAB any credibility at all right now. Both are an absolute mess and a disgrace in their current formats! To call this Fan Engagement is also laughable when it's just a meeting. “FAB weren’t afraid to ask difficult questions” is a pathetic thing to say. They may have mentioned something but I can guarantee they didn’t say “answer this by X or else......” , and if they did it’s another empty threat. The Trust say they aren't a protest group but at some point they have to turn on the club to have any credibility (if they have any left). Very nearly getting slightly cross at Susan isn't holding the club accountable. This is all the FAB / Trust do. Get a bit frustrated and then sit back while the club come back to them in their own time.....ad nauseam. I could be wrong, make of it what you will but the timing? Slightly yellow maybe?

Just saw this on the old Facebook... Strange it's not been posted on here by the trust. And the timing? https://foxestrust.co.uk/11580/foxes-trust-in-dialogue-with-lcfc "On Wednesday evening last week and yesterday evening, Foxes Trust Co-Chairs, Lynn and Steve, met with Susan Whelan (CEO), other LCFC directors, members of the Supporter Engagement team, and the supporter representatives on the LCFC Fan Advisory Board(FAB). These were open meetings, with frank and candid discussions about the on-field situation, management decisions, finances and supporter anger and disappointment. It was helpful to meet with and witness how the FAB members were not afraid to ask difficult questions of Susan. It was also interesting to note her passion for the club in responding and wanting to provide answers, subject to confidentiality. There was a genuine desire to take on-board views from a supporter perspective and to explore possible solutions, short- and long-term. We cannot detail the comments and questions asked by others, nor the answers given, as we agreed to abide by the confidentiality imposed on the FAB. We have posed relevant questions and queries, and provided feedback on answers from the Club and other participants. We will maintain dialogue with the Club, and a further meeting is planned for next week."

The guy is the anti-statin, he's an absolute waste of space. Would turn up to the opening of an envelope if it meant a new pitch side Facebook profile pic. A proper Blue Army coach one type, XXXL home and away. If the club suggested fans pay them to remove their limbs he'd be there nodding, approving and providing a quote for the Merc.

You can get a ban for "@ ing" any of the club or its staff on social media especially if you swear. That goes against their social media policy which is all about comms on their "official channels". That's what started the investigation into my proposed ban in 2021 (and where I fell in love with Anthony and his ways). The UFS bans and the process is vile and beyond any logical comprehension. It seems/is so targeted and the fact they were given 15 minute time slots for each appeal tells you the decisions were made well before the banning letters were even sent.

Rename it mate, remove "UFS" (U F**king Scallywags) and replace with "LCFC Pride" and you can get full access to Seagrave, the KP stadium and at least twelvety social media posts to promote it. Other than that could you speak to the local FA or local leagues and see where they could recommend? Maybe even the LCFC community trust could help advise of somewhere?
