  1. He’ll win some fans over today with “it was better”, “we looked more organised” and “at least he tried something different”, “it was only 1-0”….”FNQ” Another L for the CV and zero points for Gilet man..
  2. They’re at Crufts this weekend
  3. Lovely to wake up with that feeling of the intoxicating romance and glamour of a match day… 🦁 6 (six) 🦊 0
  4. Hahaha TBH I grew up near Market Harborough so I most definitely wasn’t in a post code populated with Forest, Derby or Cov fans!
  5. I don’t have any hate for any of them really. It’s a bit childish to get as angry as some can do. It’s annoying that we’ve fallen so far more than anything. I actually think Forests story this season is brilliant. I don’t really want them to win games but when they do I think of all the dads, mums, carers and kids enjoying those moments and about to go on a European Tour similar to ours. Kids supporting their local teams and going into school with bragging rights. That’s brilliant. My mate travels home and away with them and it’s kind of nice to see him happy after years of shite. Derby, I enjoyed our 90’s battles, the baseball ground and then PP, the 4-0 of course. Auto Windscreens Vs Walkers Crisps were decent battles. Forget Coventry? Leicesters the place…
  6. Unreserved is the best way to do these sections without doubt. Even at Donny we sold out the “end” once we did this and moved people to more relevant parts of the ground, it worked so well. That said I think going unreserved means you have to reduce the capacity of that stand by 10% (I think it’s that) which is not something we’d ever do in the EPL because of ££££. Maybe with relegation this change can come. Something for the FAB to try and push and for Graeme to then sabotage from within no doubt.
  7. Have you tried Ruud directly? He’ll be back in charge of you by then for his third win against us this season.
  8. Genuinely think a good project for the new board members would be an analysis of the board and the progress made against the aims listed on the website over the last 24,18,12 and 6 months. Basically what I’ve asked for in the email that has been ignored. This information should be readily available for members and also for the trust to monitor their own progress and that of the board members within. IMO Some on the board do a lot more than others and TBH that’s not fair internally or on those that invest their £10’s. It’s only £10 yes but I’m considering not bothering again. I’d rather give it to a local charity. You’ll get two scenarios. 1- There will be significant progress made against all aims and all board members are serving a purpose making the financial investment by its members worth it. In which case let’s celebrate that publicly and praise those within for their achievements. Wouldn’t that be great? or 2- No real progress, nothing achieved of any significance and board members not doing enough making the £10 investments totally pointless. Hopefully we’ll find number 1 scenario but if not then scenario 2 creates an opportunity to restructure naturally rather than aggressively. It’s normal over time for businesses etc to outgrow its employees so to speak. It could be some board members are found not to be pulling their weight and they could be asked politely to move on in the best interest of the trust and the wider fan base. Steve always says he’d move on if there was someone better (there isn’t) but he’s the only one that has put their hand up and said that. Just my thoughts as usual. And yes I agree the Trust would be a lot stronger with this energy on the inside, ironically it was and they shat themselves.
  9. Eh up I would hope the Trust see it as free friendly advice, guidance maybe(?). I've only ever spoken facts TBH and in the last post with the letter, I was answering a question for my point of view which I'm always happy to give. Also saying how I'd play it from the clubs perspective based on experience, which I would've thought was quite useful feedback? I'm not sure what parts of that the trust didn't like or felt were unfair? It's a weird one really as the trust seem more than happy to call me, email me and WhatsApp me to try and silence me, but they don't come back to me when I ask questions and don't like it when I give a point of view that is honest and observant and possibly not favourable? I'm not sure what is expected? I totally appreciate it will take time to make any real difference (if at all with the FE Framework / FAB that now trumps all fan group voices) , or for Bason, Digby and the other dead wood to walk away of course. None of it is personal I promise. I'm also happy to be proved wrong in any of my views. Ian is aware I have sent the below email but nobody has acknowledged it. I sent the original 2 weeks ago and chased it on Thursday. It's probably a really good chance for some Trust transparency and to silence any critics maybe? As a member can you please tell me where I can find anything tangible against all of the "aims" listed on your website? I'm looking for a breakdown of each "aim" and the progression made on each of them over the last 24, 18, 12 and 6 months. I am assuming this information / kind of report is easily available, I just can't seem to find it? I'd also be interested to see how each of the board members individually has influenced those changes and what they bring to the trust. As you know, I am not confident that the current board (Steve and newbies aside) have the interest of the wider fan base to mind when it comes to their board roles so I'm looking forward to receiving your confident reassurances by return email. Up the city Ryan"
  10. Firstly well done for talking publicly. Huge red flag here with “We’re not at the stage where we need throw bricks yet”. Interested to know just what this club has to do for The Trust to get to that stage? It literally hasn’t been this bad off the pitch for your members for years and on the pitch…er ever! Please stop the “at the table” nonsense also. It’s the Trusts “Foxes Never Quit”. We all know the conversation is at another table at they’re all whispering!
  11. When Millwall won family club of the year that year, the EFL had to redo one of their mystery shops as the family used to do the mystery shop were sat next to someone being racist in the family stand. The irony eh!
  12. Club will say it’s part of the “Canine engagement framework”
  13. I'm still waiting on a reply from an email I sent the Trust two weeks ago. Ian refused to reply as he said the committee needs to!!!!!! This isn't a dismantling post for the sake of it at all, but more facts based on experience either side of the fence I guess.... I think it's a very easy letter to send. It looks nice and looks like they want to hold the club accountable publicly so that ticks a box and they will no doubt be patting their backs this morning. The contradictions come while they continue to sit on the fan panels and FAB and all that nonsense and just tickle Anthonys balls under the table. So if I am in Anthony's role I know the letter is just a bit of noise and there will be absolutely zero consequence if they put the prices up again. A few people won't renew maybe, but next season at least, there will be people waiting to get an ST. All the club care about is "maximising the matchday revenue ceiling". Based on that alone and if I was them in their current mindset, I'd put them up again now before we settle in the EFL for good. I personally don't like the idea of that at all, but those at the club are here for their CV's not for us lot. They know that nobody is going to hold them accountable or make enough noise to make a difference. It's all very, very easy to silence. The club have zero care about the future fans (it goes beyond prices). I've spoken on here and directly to the trust in my time there about the EFL Famlily Excellence awards and how these are designed to test / expose the club's long term strategy on future fans and on attracting and retaining families. LCFC failed miserably with a terrible assessment last time out because the culture has always been to sell more widgets in Thailand now (the reason Imogen Ward was appointed), rather than have a family spend £100's for the next 40/50 years. The @Foxes_Trust promised me they would challenge the club on this in the summer after my guidance but I've not seen anything since. It's a tough one for @CosbehFox as he is there for the right reasons (we chat lots off here) but IMO he has no backing for now, and the other clowns on the board seem happy for him to put himself out there to be shot at. They have the ability to make him look shit and they will do just that if they need to. So in summary, it's easily quashable noise that the club may or may not acknowledge but will then revert back to the "Fan engagement framework" that ironically, the same people agreed to!!
  14. The way to hold the club accountable is to literally discuss 3 issues. The 3 biggest issues and only ever discuss them no matter what the meeting is supposed to be about. Discuss nothing else ever until they are sorted. If you go off on all these tangents the club (like the trust) will pick the low hanging fruit and say "see we are listening, but we can't do everything" *logs off again
  15. Popped back and saw this. Good lord. What a load of nothingness. Considering the absolute state we are in as a club and the list or priorities fans must surely have, was this seriously raised and discussed as a point that could genuinely improve things? 16. After all the posts I’ve made in here I had the inevitable contact direct from the Trust yesterday. This time in WhatsApp form asking me to talk to someone on the FAB with an independent view of the FAB. To help me understand it better!!!!! I declined as in don’t need another view on the FAB. What I’ve said on here is all based on facts, experience and knowledge. It’s Anthony Herlihys toy for his CV. Around him (mostly not all) carefully selected puppets to tickle his testicles. That’s it. In the exchange I asked all of the questions I wanted answering….again, I think it’s the 4th time. These covered - Why the Trust ignored all my requests to speak to the club directly about the FE framework despite knowing my experience and the reason they wanted my help in the first place. - Why I was ignored repeatedly in the summer when I asked the trust to circumnavigate Anthony Herlihy when he was clearly out of his depth with the Fan Engagement strategy. He and his team were guilty of missing his own deadlines time after time and this went completely unchallenged. Alan Digby at one point getting quite cross with me and saying “give them even more time”!!! This was without doubt the best chance us fans have ever had to expose AH’s incompetence and his continuous lip servicing of the supporter groups, broken promises and complete failure to operate transparently. AH then rushed the FE and FAB plan through forcing the hand of the trust into a short deadline signature of agreement. They could’ve not signed it BTW. (FYI - AH is considered by many, more of a direct threat to us supporters and our experience at our club than Rudkin) - Why the Trust don’t act or follow the aims on their website which lists “holding the club accountable”. Plus other stuff that’s in this thread and other posts. This was greeted with “it isn’t just down to me to respond on behalf of the Trust”. With the offer of then taking it to the committee to reply!!!!!! Cowardly. So it seems there can be selective replies on here to the low hanging fruit at the witching hour but with direct contact (in a conversation started by the man who made all the decisions I’ve questioned) it has to go to the committee. I’m quite tired of all this now. It hits my mental health a lot at times like now as I’ve said before. That was the reason I left football after so long, the reason I had to step back from the initial reform buzz and also the reason I stepped away from the trust when all the above happened and they agreed to a FE structure that doesn’t benefit or favour us fans. It’s frustrating knowing that the trust is run by such incompetent and lazy people who hide behind “I’m a volunteer” when the shit hits the fan. A line used by those that are failing or out of their depth. The Trust absolutely don’t represent you. They represent themselves and being closer to the club than you or I. They represent a Facebook photo with the EPL trophy or in the dugout. The need for a working trust and the need to challenge the club has outgrown every single one of them, as the club has outgrown most, if not all of the senior management and their teams at the club. Reform will get there eventually (thank you) and this terrible lot removed (Steve aside). It’s just devastating that the weakness of the board on the trust over the summer agreed to stuff that only favours those on the FAB and of course, those at the club. It also has such a detrimental effect on us supporters for the next three years at least. We have no voice. Keep fighting the fight. I’ll be back at some point no doubt. Up the Citeh 🦊
  17. Really strange this. When my mum was in hospital for 12 months the club were really accommodating to my dad and his ST.
  18. It’ll get there. Yesterday was a decent start. I think the tides are turning finally. That said we have a comms director who turns to Levy for advice and an FAB the comms director controls 🤣
  19. Choice mate. FAB’s can be as flexible as they want to be. The comms director is on the FAB and it’s his baby to cradle. The trust accepted all the terms the club finally set so now have to play by the rules for 3 years I think.
  20. For the avoidance of doubt the club and the FAB could decide to publish everything or even broadcast meetings if they wished. It’s a conscious decision not to. Just because “other clubs” do things one way there are no regulations to stop another club doing something different should all parties agree that’s in the best interest of the wider fan base.
  21. Ah the low hanging fruit from the thread has been picked..... Loads more to get stuck into in this thread. I've sent an email too.
  22. Yes mate, the FSA are good folk trying hard and have been for years. Often getting nowhere but they can be a good resource as a fan or when working at a club. They've helped me with both. That said, when I was at clubs and you got an FSA email you either ignored it or just ticked the boxes to make them think you were listening and moved on ASAP. No real clout.
  23. Your best bet is to speak to [email protected] , she's a good egg and a football fan, however my understanding with this process was that they just sat through the recruitment side once the club had suggested it's strategy. Any FAB is down to how the club want to do it and fan groups etc can try and suggest other ways, but of course you need to be strong with that!! So now this has been decided, it's ultimately "pipe down and do as we want" from LCFC.
