LCFC 2-0 Birmingham, post-match thread
James and his giant peach replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Stansfield wasn't playing and I'm pretty sure we injured Gray early on and he was never at 100 per cent. They were toothless, nice possession at times and a decent side but would never have scored if they were playing til next week. -

I enjoyed that, best atmosphere at home for a long time, a performance to admire because of the effort. That's all us fans want, press and harry and try your hardest, if we do the dirty work, our quality will win us matches, which it did tonight, two cracking goals. Still might need to get one or two players in, a creative midfielder and a striker, but all in all a great night.- 330 replies

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
James and his giant peach replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Sounds like the little cvnt is getting desperate and it's near the deadline and he hasn't got his precious move. "Please mummy don't let me play in the championship there are bad men there and Grant Hanley." "Don't worry my boy you will soon be rolling ball under foot at Premier league trust me and if not you just say I don't want to play any more" He's really not as good as he thinks he is hence why no one has bought him yet, let him rot in the U-18s if he wants, it will be his career he's ruining. -
Josh Brownhill (Al Shabab, free transfer)
James and his giant peach replied to Sly's topic in Transfer Talk
Brownhill is a strange one. 18 goals and a promotion, released and then no new club still. You'd think he would have been snapped up straight the way. If he is asking for silly money then he's a silly boy and not the kind of player you want at the club, another mercenary. -

OK slight exaggeration but suffice to say they dominated their game and should have won by a few whilst we were dominated and were lucky to win. -

Play Ricardo in MF with Winks and Hamza at RB, that's what I'd do. -
I missed this did he actually say it in a interview?

In terms of having a signature move which apparently is a weakness, it's not a weakness at all when the opponents can't stop it

To be honest there's probably many more better players than BEK for 35m, even if they are maybe a few years older. Palace have lost their best player and need a replacement to hit the ground running with a European campaign. -
Literally stunned by this. Signing him on a free would be a rip off, he's absolutely useless. Can't tackle, poor aerially, bad positionally, poor on the ball, had a few decent months at wing back in a 352 system before his injury turned him into a league two player. Cannot believe we getting 10m and he will be in the prem, the world's gone mad.

He has scored this goal several times. Look at how many times Messi or Salah cut in on their left foot to score, defenders, fans, everyone knows what they're going to do but stopping them is impossible as they do it so well and so fast. He's one of only a handful of players on this league who are capable of scoring a goal like that. It's unbelievable that after a goal like that our own fans can still slate him. He's been out for almost a year and has come back better than ever.

Not fear no, never said that, they're a good side though, very good side who should have 3 wins out of 3 if it wasn't for a 96th min harsh pen v ipswich. Gray is good in this league and they have players you may never have heard of but they will be near the top this season and it will be a tough game for us. They're better than anyone we have faced so far and certainly better than Charlton. -

Demarai Gray and Kyogo are not the same standard as Charltons at all I reckon you must be trolling at this point. -

You really are determined to create a narrative aren't you. How exactly are Charlton the same as Birmingham in terms of squad, ambition, aspirations, current team etc etc can you please explain how they are the same. -

Yeah I've watched plenty of football thanks. They murdered Ipswich and were robbed, they dominated Blackburn and won at the death and had about 30 attempts on goal v Oxford. They're a good side playing much better than us currently so therefore it will be a hard game. I'm not sure how you could come to any other conclusion, or you think we will win easily? I'd love nothing more than for us to hit form and beat them but the way the two teams are playing I can't see it. -

Its not big as in a fierce rivalry it's just big in the realms of the championship, 2 big clubs, it's a Midlands derby, both expected from the outside to be challenging at the top. In that sense it's a big game. -

Brum and Charlton are not similar at all. Do you even watch football? We got 3 points today but incredibly luckily, because of a wonder goal and a wonder save against a side who scraped up via the play offs from league one. Brum won that league with 100 plus points and have spent shit loads on players who have a lot of quality. Brum will be play offs at least this season mark my words, and it's a big step up in quality to anything we have faced so far. -
