  1. I know it's only a training session and it's the first game etce etc etc but you can already see we have nothing upfront. Loads of possession but nothing to show. If we approach the season with Daka and Evans then God help us.
  2. Did anyone else find Winks insufferable in the YouTube video showing the players back in training? Looked mardy, angry, and like he genuinely didn't want to be there at all. Compared to say Abdul or Riccy, just a totally wrong attitude.
  3. Below par score, shambles of an innings really after getting 70 off the powerplay. Will have to bowl incredibly well.
  4. Yeah it's just stupid, he needed to stay with cox we are already over 10 an over, steady it for 2 or 3 then go again, but now 5 down and that long haired nob still has 2 overs left.
  5. Just the same as watching England this is, brainless wickets tumbling.
  6. Who the fvck is this long haired cvnt
  7. Says on Efl site Cov is 12.30 on the Saturday
  8. Coventry home is 12.30 Oxford away is 12.30 Its on efl site And that's alongside the others already mentioned
  9. They've only used the kookaburra ball in the last two rounds of games.
  10. Forget Rehan's bowling, he's a class top order batter as well.
  11. Get Rehan Ahmed in for Pope and Bethell in for Crawley. Archer for Tongue.
  12. This happens so many times where the batting team gets a giant score of 600 and then the opposition are on a hiding to nothing. The bowling first and chasing only works IF the opponents get around 400 max, OR you get a good start. Like here, England know really they have to get around 500 to even get a draw, it demoralises you straight the way. Flat pitch, rip up the script and bat first. Runs on the board is the way to apply pressure, then it really doesn't matter if the pitch is a road or not, you are forced into mistakes. At least a big defeat might bring them back down to earth, get Archer in and maybe Bethell for the Lords test and freshen things up.
  13. Seen the thread was hot, should have know in foxestalk tradition that doesn't mean anything has actually happened, but loads of puns and general guesswork mixed with usual shite and Andy King fan boys.
  14. Really really bad take. They were bottom and dead and buried, a league one squad, with no money, players and staff not getting paid etc and yet he comfortably kept them up and then second season had them mid table all despite that off field chaos. He's highly rated, young, ambitious, forward thinking and probably the best we can get at this moment in time. He knows the division and is used to working with limitations, but wants to play progressive football. It's a no brainer to me.
  15. Does anyone know actually how bad this is? The article in the Sun mentions business collapse. Is it typical sensationslist journalism or is it actually like massive shit the bed time?
  16. I think the batting won't be a problem plenty of experience and big game players, our problem will be taking 20 wickets. Very nice finish to the session, they will be kicking themselves at losing them so close to lunch, needless ones too no need to play at those balls they were nothing special at all. Good catch by Smith.
  17. Early signs aren't good for the bowlers, Not doing much and India look very comfortable, might turn out to be a good toss to lose. Stokes himself might have to bowl a fair bit later.
  18. Yes mate I just said I take it all back. They should have got 200 after that start and the pitch looks good, Van beek and Scriven and Trev bowled well.
  19. I take it all back 🤣🤣 that's a poor score on that pitch, we should definitely be getting 156. If Clarke and Sams and had stayed in a bit longer it could have different, the catch by Scriven to get Clarke out turned the game. From ten an over power play to 156 that's good going for us. Van beek and Scriven brilliant bowling.
  20. Why put them in? Every time Kimber wins the toss he gets it wrong, they're smashing it everywhere and will no doubt get 200 and we will have huge pressure. We bat all the way down to 9 and 10 why not bat first and get the score on the board???
  21. Can't believe with the series already won they haven't looked at Rehan Ahmed tonight. I guess he plays for the wrong county.
  22. Ricardo and Coady will almost certainly go. We won't start the season with all those wingers either. Ayew if he stays will play through the middle. We look to have Mavididi and Fatawu as starters but who knows if anyone comes in for Abdul we have McAteer and Mknga and we may cash in. Winks is on mega money and is another we will most probably try and rid of too. He was horrific last season.
  23. And who is this old woman on the commentary she's giving me the right hump
  24. They'd lost all 3 we had only lost 1 so I suppose it was bound to happen 😂😂 big wake up call though as could have easily lost to Durham the other night.
  25. Absolutely shocking today. Kimber putting them in, Bowling was largely shite and now the batting even worse. This would be a poor start in a 50 over game let alone a t20 chasing over 200. Rehan makes such a difference with bat and ball and they need to rethink the top order batting in this because Mahsood budinger and Patel hardly get any runs at all.
