Probably the only club in world football that would beat a team 9-0 and then soberly decide to buy half of said clubs back line. Then a few years later beat that same club 9-1 on aggregate and think thats the manager who we want to take us forward in to the "next chapter".

Even if he didn't want to take time out from football, why would he want to take the Fulham job, other than for financial means. What could he possibly achieve there that hasn't been already?
