  1. Wolves won late but god knows which division AFC Wimbledon play in, you were better off doing MK Dons Im sick as a pig on my bet. I would have had £638 back from my £70 bet and to get let down after an injury time equilizer by Barnsley is a bit hard to take, especially as I decided not to back Cardiff in a single as that was my banker at good odds (odds against). Still, you win some and you lose some but I should have done singles but it is hard to take a loss so late on when I was practically spending the winnings
  2. It was going great thanks to England and Leicester but I am about to order 6 pieces of chicken or 2 pizzas to get the horrible feeling out of the pit of my stomach after Barnsley scored a 90th min equalizer that has cost me £638 on my footy bet. All that and I am not going out tonight as I have my son very early tomorrow and don't want to wake up half pi$$ed. At least the little lad will make my smile all day tomorrow as he usually does
  3. All 4 drawing now Ade has equalized against Cardiff Good luck to all those who have bets on, but its back to the radio for me.
  4. I didnt put my bets up for today but I went for a 4 team accie with Florist. Charlton, Cardiff and Peterboro for £70 at odds of 8/1. So far all are drawing apart from Cardiff who are 1-0 up, 40 mins for them to get it right.
  5. Nice one Time to study up for the weekends football.
  6. A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father, "Dad, how many kinds of boobs are there? The father, surprised, answers, "Well, son, there are three kinds of breasts. In her 20s, a woman's breasts are like melons, round and firm. In her 30s to 40s, they are like pears, still nice but hanging a bit. After 50, they are like onions". "Onions?" "Yes, you see them and they make you cry." This infuriated his wife and daughter so the daughter said, "Mum, how many kinds of 'willies' are there?" The mother, surprised, smiles and answers, "Well dear, a man goes through three phases. In his 20s, his willy is like an oak tree, mighty and hard. In his 30s and 40s, it is like a birch, flexible but reliable. After his 50s, it is like a Christmas tree". "A Christmas tree?" "Yes - dead from the root up and the balls are just for decoration."
  7. I hope he got change.
  8. On what?
  9. Unlucky mate. It was a weird night tonight as the Champs League usually has a strong bias for home teams but every game bar the Real game was an away win including Olympiacos who won away for the first time in about 32 games and I think Besiktas lost at home for the first time in Europe in 5 years if I heard that right. Strange old night.
  10. Lucky to get a last minute Celtic winner I suppose but as you say, apparently WBA should have won but that does typify the Championship at the moment. Still, its about a £70 profit which is better than a kick in the knads. at Mr Reynolds there and what problems that gambling can cause! This dude was gambling so much that he told me when his missus was upstairs hoovering, he would get the dogs on the TV and make two or three bets at £2000 win each one! He actually lost £86k in one day and its such a shame to see a 32/33yo dude whop was respected after doing well in business owning a cafe and a butchers and 3 homes and now he has lost both businesses and two houses are on the market. His missus doesnt trust him, dad thinks his a prat and he now walks around just a shade of the man he was. Its an evil business but he is lucky he still has a home to live in after all of the crap. Anyway, roll on tomorrow for some more footballing profits!
  11. When it comes to football, I easily win over the course of the season. The problem is managing myself to stop playing the horses which is being managed well at the moment BTW talking of them being "owned", we are chumps compared to some of these gamblers. I know one dude who has lost £450k-550k over the last 6 months and has had to put up to properties he owns up for sale and his missus nearly left him when he told her last month. The amount that these bookies win over the course of the year is almost sickening but thats because most of us are impatient and not clever when making our bets. Hopefully I have turned the corner over the last 6-12 months and pick and choose the games. Now watch both my selections get dicked 7-0 at home today
  12. I ended up making two bets for today. WBA at 4/5 to beat Stoke (£100 staked) and CELTIC to beat Milan at 3.4/1 on Betfair for £50 Celtic lost there first game and will need to rely on their home form hence taking a chance today at those odds and West Brom are on form in the league and Stoke dont seem to be all that so 4/5 with paddy power is decent value. My midweek bet strike rate is terrible compared to my saturday betting so lets hope I manage a win midweek for once. Good Luck to those who are gambling their hard earned money
  13. Nice one. Those Accys always go tats up with one side. I wonder what returns you would have had if you just backed them individually?!
  14. Did you mean for midweek? I didn't bet have a bet yesterday and don't see any standout games for today apart from maybe having a small wager on West Brom again at 4/5 to beat Stoke. WBA are in form and I think have won all 4 league games at home (got hammered by Cardiff in the cup though) but after hammering QPR, they will be up for this game and Stoke aren't all that IMO.
  15. As Raj mentioned, its to fuel my addiction . Im not really going on holiday although the plan is to start in Vegas and play some poker tournements there and anywhere within a short haul and cheap flight or ten. The success of the gambling will determine the length of the stay and the enjoyment I have over there Ive mentioned this on another thread but basically my brother let me down today so I went to see the game by myself. I left early to try and bump into some old mates from Rowlatts Hill/Evington but couldn't see anyone and when I knocked on a couple of doors no-one was in (they probably were but spotted it was me and hid behind the sofa). Driving back the MP3 player went and despite stopping on the hard shoulder and doing my impression of being a mechanic (I know fudge all about cars and its a miracle that I can drive), it still didn't work and I had the best part of 70 miles driving home with no music, no company and seeing songs to myself like some numpty. The good news is after doing some singing practice for over an hour and purely acapella I think I am ready for the next X-Factor.
  16. Today I can offically announce that I have a screw loose. I booked my Vegas trip for Wednesday the 24th of this month, all because I won free tickets for Leicester Sheff U . That will be the last you hear from me for a couple of months unless the gambling money dries up early which is a strong possibility.
  17. A few beers, back to a mates for a game of cards and a further drink (as you get older you cant hack staying out in pubs and clubs all night and do more stuff at home so kids, be warned ), Crashed on floor and got up nice and early to pick my son back and bring him to North London. Now I cant wedge him off the PSP since I got it chipped and he has shite loads of games to play . At least it saves me some money on excursions
  18. I won £145 thanks to Florist. As much as I dislike the fact that these evil thoughts are in my head, I think they have enough players fit to go on a good run and do well in this division and yesterdays 3-0 win at Yeovil confirms that it may well happen. My accumulator bet went tats up with 3 winning but Crawley let me down who were string favourites to win. Actually, even Torquay left it until the 90th minute to win and they were 2/9! Still, its a profit so I cant complain.
  19. Its a win win situation here because if my bet goes tats up, Florist would have messed up but if they win I`ll be richer in the pocket. FLORIST TO WIN AT 6/4 - £130 win £325 returned FLORIST, CRAWLEY, TORQUAY and ABERDEEN £50 win accumulator win £396 returned. Forgive me for picking this division 3 team in my bet but I just reckon they have turned a corner and will go on a decent run. I think I hope I am wrong
  20. That cant be true!?
  21. Unlucky, I see it came in 2nd. Ive just backed Munich 1860 for £20 to beat Mainz away at 14s. Second half just started and they are 1-0 down but lead the German 2nd division so I thought it was worth a sneaky twenty. Probably money in the bin but worth a gamble. EDIT: Update 2-0 down. I told you it was a waste of good beer money
  22. I have been back weeks . Mate I have done the working crazy hours as a retail manager and gave up holiday days and weeks which are to this day still owed so now I can come and go as I wish I plan on taking advantage of it as I know doubt in the future will be forced to do a "proper job" once this own business and gambling thing goes tats up.
  23. At home gambling at the moment on the poker tables and peering my head onto this forum. Tomorrow I book my trip to Vegas which will see me fudge off for a couple of months and that in turn will bring the amount of posts on this forum down by 20%
  24. Text received tonight.... Woman goes to her doctor and says "Every time I have sex a big gush of wind comes out of my fa**y and it sounds like its saying "Spurs are a top 4 side". The doctor says "Dont worry, I hear a lot of c**ts say that"
