And if we pay 600k for Rohl it's guaranteed that we won't be in a position of wanting to sack him in 5 months? How? Point is of all the managers linked with us, they should be capable of making us a top 4 side at a minimum, even if they are uninspiring names. So GON would have to be doing something pretty dreadful to be sacked in 5 months (wait, sorry I forgot that's guaranteed)
-
Sure but you could say that with virtually every manager (that they have negative traits) - the only managers you perhaps can't say that about are ones that we will not be close to attracting
-
And finished 14th with no pre season with the players, which to me seems decent. So it's odd how his stats were apparently muck (I won't lie I didn't study what you posted)
-
Apologies for not running with the usual doom-mongering mindset but is it out of the question that we're interviewing as a contingency for the Rohl situation not being resolved by X date?
-
Was he there for the whole season? I thought he came in midseason
-
I'm okay, I've already made my point. I remember being underwhelmed on behalf of Wolves fans when he was appointed manager and was quite surprised at how well he did. Just saying it's not particularly fair to judge a manager by narrowing down his stats to a window where he did a shit job
-
Full wet tyres are a myth, they don't exist. It goes dry tyres, inters, SC, red flag
-
You got the stats from the season before? Or are we just handpicking the stats of managers in the months before they got canned/left
-
Seriously though there are certain people I see in this thread multiple times a day more or less copying and pasting the same compiled list of everything's that's wrong with this club, most of it fair enough, some of it clutching at straws, and rather tediously signing off with "I'm officially done with this club". I take no pleasure in saying this but prove it. Take a break. Turn off social media. Just try and switch off and care a little less, because unless your persona on here is starkly different to the one friends and family see "irl", it's clear that your investment in this football club is taking its toll.

5 years should do it

How dare you try and be reasonable with your thinking

Dyche is this eras Allardyce, he's probably waiting for the call from Leeds/Burnley/Sunderland ....at Christmas
-
I'd rather O'Neill than Wilder or Dyche, atleast the ceiling with him is a little more unknown. I thought he had Wolves playing decent stuff but they were a bit like Potter at Brighton, couldn't score. In his first season at Wolves anyway? But yeah underwhelming given we've had 10 weeks to sort it. Has anyone thought this may dropped into the media to rush any Rohl discussions along?
-
Yet probably has a much smaller ceiling than Dyche who's ceiling is probably like 16th in the PL with us
-
The longer this drags in the more it leans towards wanting Rohl. Surely that much is obvious, unless you're that miserable and want to just jump on the "the club is a shambles" bandwagon. Hope for the boards sake that we don't eventually get tired of waiting around and hire a Wilder/Dyche and then it looks like we've waited 2+ weeks to hire somebody unemployed

These Max/Spain comparisons will never end will they best one is Norris getting an even stronger penalty last year in Qatar for failing to slow down as little as 0.1s and in doing so showing that he's being super duper safe under yellow flags. FTR I don't think this and Russell at Canada was the same, certainly speeds/braking speed. I think it was a bit harsh as they're essentially accusing him of brake checking, why would he be?Piastri was quicker than Max all race, doesn't need to get up to that stuff. Not enough is being made of Piastri's "if you think the penalty was harsh then swap the positions back and let's race". I thought that was pretty disappointing and would be spoken about a lot more if a select few other drivers had said it and not someone who is something of a media darling

@The Blur get wet?

Vardy can do better than Las Palmas
-
Same strategy you said Stroll got lucky on FFS
-
It really doesn't hurt to acknowledge when someone does a good job, even if it is a rarity
-
Blablabla it's not luck to keep it on the track like he did in conditions like today, Australia, Turkey springs to mind amongst others.
-
say what you want about him in general but in the wet he's weirdly decent, proved it enough in the past including this season. And by holding up the pack, that pack consists of 1 driver, who has always been about 1-1.5s behind.
-
Stroll in his element here

Pretty late though isn't it. I'm sure we'd cope with new signings not having much of a pre-season with us but still
