What's more concerning for me is that I'm sure we'd all have liked a major revamp of the squad, which more than likely isn't going to happen now. Do not want to be going back up with the likes of Vestergaard, Soumare, Daka having semi decent seasons and then hoping they'll be good enough in the PL after 2 relegations

The forecast for today makes their approach last night even more silly -
- will fit us like a glove then - "if you take out his good stats, his remaining stats are really bad" (that narrative stinks of Nige btw, nailed it at one club but not done much elsewhere) - this one particularly irks me. So should our next manager have succeeded in the PL? Or does somebody like Rohl with no experience in the PL get a free pass on that? Because if his first year of PL is with us then the chances are his record is going to be worse than someone like Dyche's. Wilder has failed at teams you'd expect him to fail at. Granted he'd be with us who you'd also expect to fail
-
If we're +8pts adrift in December/January in the PL in 2027 under Rohl, do we sack him or is he still the long term project? Doesn't take much for our fans to want a manager out, were some morons wanting Maresca out in our sticky patch near the end of that season

Don't think it needs rain, should be a good one in the dry

Devils advocate here..... Can someone tell me why he'd be a disaster? Same with Dyche and the likes which is causing everybody to have a breakdown? What actually is a disaster for us over the next year or two? Mid table? Not going back up at the first attempt? I think things would have to turn pretty disastrous for that to happen under these names, and is it really any less likely to happen under Rohl? What is it about Wilder at this level and his most recent season here which spells disaster? I feel to some we're still seen as a mid table-lower top half PL club and we are above these appointments. No matter who we appoint I think it's highly unlikely we will start 27/28 in the PL as a 2nd year club. Before I get accused of being a dinosaur, I'll point out my stance on it is I'd rather Rohl or somebody outside the box like the Bodo manager (tad unrealistic), because at this level with our squad/facilities we can probably get away with taking a risk. Going for a "boring" option I don't think means we're less likely to go up. Certainly don't think it gives us less of a chance to stay up in the PL either, especially Dyche. And as far as Rohl goes, doing well at a certain level of a league does not guarantee success when they start managing at the other end of it, there are many examples of it. Part of the temptation with him is that he hasn't yet failed.

So do fans want us to entertain and inevitably lose, or try and keep the lead in a 5 match series? No brainer for me but I dare say the England captain disagrees -

Probably be everybody's second choice behind Rohl

What comms do you want from the club exactly? I can write you one on their direction, it's not hard. Whether they take the correct actions towards that is another matter A comms about the manager situation? Never seen one of those about pre-sacking a manager after the final game or the season but having to wait til end of June/July, nor have I seen a club issue a comms with an update of their pursuit of a manager currently trying to get out of the contract from another club. Be frustrated by the situation sure but not sure a lack of comms is worth getting upset over Happy birthdays I'd be 99% sure is nothing to do with club except for the social media team. Low quality engagement sure, especially when it done for birthdays like Ward or Faes yet it would look odd for the club to pick and choose who they issue birthday wishes to based on how good or liked they are. Would be good to knock this one on it's head though PSR not my strong point however with all the legal action with whats going on I dare say there isn't much they can give out

It's no wonder all our hopes are pinned in someone with 18 months managerial experience when anybody who has anything resembling the smallest blot on their CV is greeted with a big fat no

Why do people get so eat up with "ITKs" when they get stuff wrong/their story hasn't materialised yet?
-
Sorry guys I just don't see anything being announced today

Has anyone posted any bizarre but definitely true stories about their nan doing cartwheels across the M69 during rush hour to celebrate the loan signing of Luigi Glombard before she treated them to a happy meal at McDonalds where they got a miniature Lily Allen figure but had it pickpocketed on the way home by an old man with a peg leg holding a chihuahua accompanied by Brian Lara with his cricket bat?

Because our birthday wishes are top tier

Couldn't tell you for sure tbh as I've never done general admission, depends what you're after. Think a while ago general admission let you go anywhere within reason but now they seem to have like gold, silver and godknows what other tiers, plus they seem to shrink available space each year now so there's less places you can go. If you wanna see cars at high speed/cornering then Hangar straight, Maggots & Becketts or Copse. If you wanna see action, overtakes or even crashes then Stowe/Vale/Luffield. Like I said before if getting on the track after the race is something that speaks to you then is recommend Vale based off last year, or atleast perhaps quickly making your way to Vale once the race is finished to be able to access it. What sort of ticket do you have and do you know where it actually allows you to go?

It's Jason Jarrett's birthday tomorrow

Camp and go Weds-Sunday I've never done general admission but it's gonna be a long day if you want a good spot as they'll be taken the moment the gates open. Deffo take the chair. Prepare for all seasons weather-wise, so cliche I know but it's so true. You'll burn when the sun's out and want a coat when it's not and it's also a very windy place. Be aware you'll pay £15+ for anything that resembles an actual meal and not just a hot dog. Merch as well will be marked up 20% from what you'll find online. Granted you might not have the time or interest if you're only there in Sunday but you'll find pop up stores are more expensive that the giant shop under the hotel on the pit straight, and the stuff in the museum is even cheaper than that if you have access to it at all. Stay after the race and make the most of it instead of rushing out as you won't get anywhere. Walk the track (if they allow it, they seem to restrict it more every year sadly. Last year they only allowed access at Vale and after the podium celebrations) Get hooked and you'll want to do more days next year. The whole thing is a festival as much as it is a Grand Prix. I do seriously recommend camping if you're that sort of person. It's the first year I won't have gone since 2017 (ignoring COVID year) as I chose to go to Monaco instead which was a totally different experience to Silverstone. Missing it more than I expected

I quite honestly stuck more than that on Rohl and nothing changed in the moments or hours after
