Dyche wouldn't be on Brentford's radar both last week nor in January if Andrews gets canned and that's nothing to do with Dyches credentials, just that they have their own ways of recruiting and would do something like Brighton with the young guy they got. West Ham would be more likely to go in the direction of Dyche even though they've got much more of a pull than Brentford

This is weird. For starters, as uninspiring as he would be, Dyche would stand just as much chance as keeping us up in the PL as anybody else linked with us. You saw what happened last summer when we Maresca goes, it rocks the boat. If Dyche gets the job now and takes us up, he isn't being pinched by anybody and allows us to continue to build rather than start from scratch. I'm not against preferring Rohl to Dyche but if there's any hint towards our board that Rohl wants to jump ship at the first opportunity then we should be steering clear. I understand the argument of getting the best man in now and dealing with unforseen circumstances (Maresca to Chelsea) later but that really blunted us last year. I know the club finances probably would disagree with me on this but I'd rather spend two or three years at this level and build up again, academy starlets included, rather than go back up with the core squad that has seen us go down up and down again.

We as fans are really against anybody who has the smallest blot on their CV aren't we? More likely to lean more towards some bloke nobody has ever heard off because we can't point out a failure of his. Just because their last job was below average in satisfaction levels, or "they took the club backwards" as somebody said in relation to Michael Carrick (bit harsh), doesn't mean their next job is guaranteed to be a failure. Lampard and Scott Parker are examples of that. On a side note how is the kettle still at Bodo Glimt? I think even he is unrealistic for us now

I've always appreciated this place, as someone with not many people or places to go to to air my opinions or vent my frustrations over whatever may be on my mind. However, some absolute weapon of a mod demonstrated to me this morning that only certain opinions are allowed on here now, so I'm gone after this rant. I understand certain threads on here are tightly controlled because it gets heated quickly. I have been banned from the Jamie Vardy thread for daring to suggest that we should be and can be looking for better next season rather than rely on him as a regular starter. Add to that that we shouldn't "pay him whatever he wants" because of our financial situation. Emotions are high from last night so I understand level headed thinking is sparse on here right now. So I wasn't surprised a handful of people wanted to pick me up on what I said, however it's one thing to disagree with me but to delete the posts and ban me from the thread for an honest and completely inoffensive football opinion? The **** is that all about? The sheer amount of hatred and abuse I reported multiple times a year ago in our relegation which went either unnoticed or was deemed by mods to be absolutely acceptable, but all it takes really is to have an opinion which doesn't relay amongst the majority?
