  1. Doesn’t mean it’s ok though.
  2. Newcastle outcast Miguel Almiron offered Premier League lifeline as three clubs battle it out over January loan transfer https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/32386646/newcastle-miguel-almiron-crystal-palace-leicester-wolves/amp/
  3. “Anywhere in the middle please Jamie”
  4. Just draw a beard on your other son, and let him be the guardian
  5. Mykhailo Mudryk ‘fails drugs test with Chelsea star now facing up to FOUR-YEAR ban’
  6. Looks like he is parking one up with that face
  7. Insult to savage
  8. Not exactly a huge surprise from a manager that got 24 points from his first 13 games last season. Finishing strong winning 18/21
  9. With 9 native Portuguese speaking players in the squad I guess it makes sense to go in that direction.
  10. Time will tell, my point was how can you compare teams on quality before even the half way point of the season when the two teams have had a chance to play half a season each. Not to mention the fact that there is a lot of noise to say the Prem is becoming a closed shop, after 3 promoted teams relegated last season and the three promoted teams struggling again this season. Depending on the how the result goes against Wolves, if they close it to Two points I think they have a much stronger chance of pulling away for the reasons I previously mentioned. its quite possible by the halfway point we could have the worst defence/goal difference in the league currently we are shipping over 2 goals per game
  11. Are we even at the half way point yet we have 3 games coming up against teams that finished in the top 4 last season
  12. What’s to think about? Is it the end of the season? let’s see how that pans out
  13. So they won’t have a manager for the rest of the season? There expected points also have them in 17th, last season they finished 13th. They have better players, they have a net spend this season of +€38m on top of + €75m so can realistically spend significantly in the January window should they wish to.
  14. Why? If they win against us 2 points behind with a better squad and some good young players
  15. Maguire, Drinkwater, Nugent, Lawrence, Wood
  16. With Villa, Man City and Liverpool still to play. Bit early to say there are 3 worse teams
  17. For now, sooner or later it evens itself out
  18. We are already over performing our expected points, the only team out of the bottom 5 at this moment in time. Currently we are second from bottom based on that statistic, and two of the other teams in the bottom 5 should have at least 5.5 more points by the same metric.
  19. Or panicking because we are the only team out performing out expected points in the bottom 5, sooner or later other teams luck will change. 11 goals conceded in the last 4 games doesn’t exactly bode well with Liverpool and Man City to come
  20. Our Expected points makes pretty grim reading and will look even worse by the NY
  21. Hopefully they don’t have a new manager
  22. Maybe the effort wasn’t questioned last week because it was clear to see that it was being made. So basically what you are saying is anytime a team down the bottom come up against a Newcastle million’s it should be a forgone conclusion that they are played off the park. lucky Southampton didnt have that attitude or West Ham when they went to Newcastle.
  23. Play him even if he uses crutches
  24. Wolves will probably have a new manager in place for the next game, this could be a horrific Xmas period with the games coming up
  25. To think how he manages to still get prem minutes after being one of the main reasons we were relegated
