“Having extended their accounting period to 13 months - filing on 30 June 2023 - to bring Leicester's accounting in line with the rest of the business, the Foxes were not a Premier League member, having handed in their shares after relegation, and therefore could not be bound by the top flight's rules” The loophole can’t go both ways though can it, on one hand they have said last season they were not a pl member at that time. How can they then claim the £22n reduction doesn’t apply to them the 35m PSR limit is for the top flight teams per season? What ever the outcome, it’s as shady as **** for a second season. Why not just clear the decks and spend less. Ward, Iversen etc cannon and coady totally not needed

Yes to the mental wages, certainly we were anyway as per the Wages to turnover image for 22/23 PSR is based on a 3 year rolling limit. 35m for every season in the top flight. The annual accounts must not have greater losses for PSR that period than the 3 year rolling period. the majority of our issues came for wages to turnover which was not sustainable, the sudden loss of European football then PL revenue has led us to the position we are into today. Coincidentally Forest and Everton were the other 2 teams high on the list here and ones you mentioned, they breached. Villa must of been close, but along with West Ham have larger gate revenues. it will be interesting to see Swiss Rambles forecast

It wasn’t long a go they were being laughed at by fans on here for the scattergun approach and the “crazy power hungry” chairmen that was going to send the club into oblivion. As for enjoying their spending last year and taking a hit, it was -€44m net last and currently this season -€18m Depending on if KDH is on last seasons accounts, we are already - €80m it was the first season they were promoted they took a massive gamble -€195m

If the club go down it’s not coming back for a long time. We struggled to comply with 83m last season. Relegation would mean 61m next season. It really is shit or bust time -
It’s the equivalent of Antonio saying he enjoys the views whilst driving at Xmas

Results have been shit arguably stock is and will be lower then you have to factor in the unreliability of jacking a job I don’t think he would get a job more easily. He wasn’t exactly linked to good jobs anyway and put his hat in the ring for Cov -

He aint leaving and we aint sacking 2 managers in a season with a precarious PSR position which is even less than the other seasons we have been a prem club -

Looks like he will miss the gym and facilities. If the story wasn’t total bollocks. 5 year deal, 5 months moved on after playing 9 times 🤔 I was shocked when I saw it for the first time. I grew up in Zingonia [Atalanta’s training setup] and until this summer I thought that centres like that were the best. But when I arrived here I was speechless, I assure you that we are on another planet . There are 21 pitches and one of them is covered. Then we have two gyms where nothing is missing and also in terms of recovery we have everything, from saunas to swimming pools."

Sensible buying players that can help if relegated as opposed to players with 0 experience in the champ but have a better pedigree and perform like nacho and daka -
Yeah all these 10s for Mads are a bit strong, one clean sheet all season. Two goalkeepers from fellow promoted teams with higher save percentage. 10 leaves no room for improvement. Pretty much the best of a bad bunch.

If it’s on Loan, He has got to be on over 100k now, Chelsea don’t want to subsidise any more wages. That 2.5m on wages could be better spent on finding a player that’s going to have a future here and on less wages.

Who knows the inner workings of the club? if we did breach it seems a bit dumb to take 30m before the deadline for KDH plus the compo for Maresca. Which could’ve been used to offset more spending this season along side an acknowledged breach last. PSR is not an unknown magic formula for a business to abide by and repeatedly failure to do so shows massive incompetence.
