Hopefully you didn’t leave your tea out
-
Just leave them wearing their shoelaces
-
It was bizarre given their chairmen died in a car crash. But what you would expect from coked up neanderthals
-
Should’ve made them watch all 57 hours of our last season in the Prem
-
Potential higher ceiling, you are speaking likes it’s a given. just like how Kompany is finding out
-
Yeah better to choose the 6 points they gained in the last 5 games or the 8 points in the last 7 games as an example

Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread

How many teams in the championship would be crying out for those players. Close to 350k per week on wages -
It doesn’t matter what colour his skin is, people can have different opinions. I’m not saying he deserves abuse either, but for the “fantastic stats” it could be argued he has failed to score in 6 of his 12 starts and has only scored against teams in the lower half of the table excluding Watford 11th. Something you would hope from a striker that was purchased for 30m and brought for the division above.

9 goals in 2805 mins (31 full 90s) in the prem in 00/01

If the midget didn’t slag off the players after the forest cup game “complacency has crept in among his players and changes need to be made. And, he added, "time could be up" for some of his squad. "Too many players think they are top players but are a long way off," said Rodgers. "Some players may have achieved everything they can here. "I watch training every day and for some it's everything they could dream of, they've won the FA Cup ”

Probably didn’t help having the former caretaker as an assistant, who have gone on to take charge
-
“Beale is understood to have lost the dressing room, with the Sunderland players particularly unhappy at being made to do extra training after a defeat, while the manager himself took the day off” that was never going to end well 🤣

Sacked by rangers and Sunderland in 6 months, must have made some serious money on the plus side.
-
What? does Ipswich, Cardiff, and Watford not count then?
-
Hopefully Millwall get relegated
-
And probably wouldn’t be playing in the championship with us

Who do you want for next season in the PL

A 50 percent pay cut would put him on £7.5m a year -
Previous winners include Ade Akinbiyi and Dennis Wise 👀
-
Leeds are also only 4 points behind us in the last 22 games
-
I don’t think Sunderland away will be nailed on, I think they will hit a bit of form

He last played 90 mins in the top flight May 21 It will be over 3 years should we get promoted. He wasn’t known for his pace in his prime. Here is a quote from an article from 6 years ago prior to the Southampton move “Vestergaard is also a defender who is aware of his limitations, therefore plays to his strengths. What he lacks in pace, he has proven to make up for with his reading of the game” He has looked comfortable in a team that dominate and have the majority of possession but as we have seen the finishing from the opposition has been quite poor, that won’t be the case if we are to get promoted and the lack of pace would be exposed a lot more. I guess it depends on our recruitment, and if there are better options out there and money available 70k plus a week.

Agreed, your average fan has a good grasp of transfer fees and player worth based on history, age, injury etc, if you spend your working life within that industry you feel like that person should be an asset in that role. It would appear we overpay and overrate the lesser skilled players when selling. Obviously no teams get it right all the time, but history has shown us with the amount of deadweight we carry that most of the time we get it wrong.

What was the logic in turning down bids for Iversen last summer. He wasn’t even making the bench. keep him for another 12 months at least, paying his wages in that time. Then take a lower bid (if any) because of his lack of activity over the last 12 months.
