  1. Young players are not going to get booed, much like how James got cheered by the angry fans outside. The players on there way out should be dropped from the match day squad. It’s a no lose game where it’s a chance to finish the season on a positive by looking at the quality of the youngsters against a team battling for promotion
  2. When checking “he has made us harder to beat” if you use Martis last 12 games against Rowetts Last 12 It’s a 2 game difference played 12 won 4 drew 2 lost 6 21 scored 23 conceded 14 points Vs Played 12 won 1 Drew 7 Lost 4 12 scored 16 conceded 10 points
  3. To be fair the 33% loss record looks a lot better than the 8% win rate
  4. It’s also not quite as easy as “offload every player on 50k plus” it’s like trying to flog a banged up old shit heap of a car for £20k
  5. Parker soon to be sacked? Beale?
  6. edit Borrowing to Pay "Grocery Bills": Analysis from Kieran Maguire and the BBC highlights that the club has been using "tomorrow's money to pay for today". The loan funds were immediately required to cover a cash-flow deficit caused by high wages and outstanding transfer fee instalments. Resulting Cash Void: Because the bank (Macquarie) has already provided the advance, the actual cash that will reach the club's bank account when the Premier League pays out in 2026/27 is expected to be as little as £2 million. Liquidity Crisis: Accounts as of June 2025 showed the club’s cash balance had dwindled to just £4.5 million, emphasizing the immediate need for the January 2026 "cash boost" from the Macquarie loan refresh.
  7. Some of the players wages will be exempt if they meet the below criteria, in which case it would be better to have those players exempt rather that sell and replace and increase the percentage pot. The "Legacy Contract" Exemption If a club is relegated from the Championship, the wages of certain players are entirely excluded from the % spending calculation if they meet these criteria Contract Timing The player must have signed their contract before a specific cutoff date (typically September of the season prior to relegation). Duration: The contract must have been for three years or more. Purpose: This rule prevents clubs from being forced to sell entire squads at a loss just to meet the lower League One turnover caps.
  8. If they got some dodgy £50m sponsorship over 5/10 year deal could they get all the money straight away and then the 75 percent revenue is a lot bigger. is there any guidance about maximum sponsorship. edit must be FMV
  9. The one that was about to bid for Chelsea before he realised Monopoly cash is not accepted
  10. We have gone from the best period in the clubs history to the worst. The elephant in the room seems to be Rudkin getting what appears to be a promotion and not being held accountable for the failings. The best thing Top can do (apart from sell) is hold Rudkin accountable and cut him loose. I would liked to have heard more focus put on Rudkins involvement moving forward but it must of been hard to stay composed in asking the questions.
  11. Depends if you’re on the way up or down. Ask Sunderland fans 5-6 years ago, compared to now
  12. Get rid of him immediately. Millwall need wins for promotion, and he managed them for four years. With him already set to leave at the end of the season, it creates a clear conflict of interest.
  13. 3 relegations in 4 seasons is shocking even for us. The last 2 seasons have been the worst as a fan. That zero goal spell last season, and the final part of this season have been beyond painful
  14. Has the aura of a lost little boy.
  15. shame more wasn’t said about why Rudkin is still here, if he thinks the players tried you can see why Rudkin got a promotion
  16. Let’s not compare getting battered in the premier league because there was a real difference in quality there, with one win in 12 games in the championship and failing to beat a team with one win all season with a squad with 18 past promotions in it. Let’s not pretend he took over Sheffield Wednesday. Do you think clubs will be rushing to appoint him with one win in his last 22 games this season?
  17. I think that’s a bit too simplistic. Yes, reducing creditor exposure helps in an administration scenario, but it’s not just that. Is there any reason why Top can’t step in and deal with the Macquarie Bank debt, so can directly improve cash flow & removes interest payments and repayment pressure. So it replaces rigid debt with flexible owner funding? Then it can reduce the risk of a cash crunch in the short term. Or by issuing new shares and injecting cash through equity as opposed to converting?
  18. isn’t there an indirect knock on effect if other debt is cleared.
  19. It’s all hypothetical, it’s not inconceivable that Top converts more loans to equity like we have seen twice since 2023
  20. Since when do players confirm like we are that desperate to keep some dog shit overpaid part player. Wonder if you would be so keen if you could get half the money anywhere else
  21. Anyone that says no manager could do anything with this squad needs a slap to the head. In the managerial wheel of fortune we got an absolute dud. One win in 12 meanwhile WBA at their 3rd attempt after their second dud Ramsey was sacked after 8 games with 0.5 ppg 0 wins 4 draws 4 defeats landed on their feet with Morrison 4 wins 5 draws 1 defeat Same squad different ideas and input Fair play to their board acting early it’s kept them up
