The elephant in the room seems to be Rudkin getting what appears to be a promotion and not being held accountable for the failings. The best thing Top can do (apart from sell) is hold Rudkin accountable and cut him loose. Is there any reason why Top can’t step in and deal with the Macquarie Bank debt, so can directly improve cash flow & removes interest payments and repayment pressure. So it replaces rigid debt with flexible owner funding? Then it can reduce the risk of a cash crunch in the short term. Or by issuing new shares and injecting cash through equity as opposed to converting?
