I watched a lot of it and didn't get it at all man, despite really liking a lot of the cast from other stuff. Borderline saccharine levels of sweetness at times and not that...funny? I liked Trying on Apple too but it suffered from the same issue of just almost being too twee too often. I'm not made of stone but if every episode is loaded with it it becomes hard to stick with.

Yeah I can't believe Rooney is still in work, the amount of goals Plymouth concede is ridiculous. When they were promoted to the Championship there seemed to be a consensus that they were a really well run, forward thinking club – I know losing a manager on the way up is tricky to navigate but the appointments of Foster and Rooney have been atrocious. Wouldn't be completely shocked if they try to tempt Lowe or Schumacher back, both on the market.
