Make sure you get the right Coach & Horses though, it's a Fuller's pub with a red front – there's another one round that way that's a pretty homogenised bland Greene King gaff! I've never been in The Old Coffee House that way but it looks right up my street and is an independent.

Had some interesting ones today in capital city before the bevs get largely jacked in bar the odd bimonthly binge / event / tour in 2025. Leyton Engineer in Leyton (surprisingly) - reopened relatively recently, really really well done job from the people behind the Approach Tavern down Bethnal Green way which was one of my favourite new visits of the year. Cask selection was a bit unvaried but well kept, great keg selection if you're into that. Got off at Liverpool St and walked up to the Barley Mow in Shoreditch from the same group. Bloody tiny place really but lovely crowd and Landlord and Five Points Railway Porter on cask. Gem in a sea of absolute dross. Would recommend seeking out any boozer under the Remarkable Pubs umbrella if any of the thread lads are ever in London. Now in the Wenlock which is a top 5 in the country for me and I could fall asleep in here, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
