  1. Yea, I'm worried our desperate situation will mean we can't gently break him in and he ends up crocked again. Praying that isn't the case, but think it will be more luck than judgement if so. 🙏
  2. I'm not. I'm desperate for him not to, but I just can't see past this being the laziest, most desperate, last minute bit of business Rudkin & Glover have ever done. I think even they would be quietly surprised if he performs. Would be thrilled to be proven wrong.
  3. In positive news; Lascelles has the potential to save us from ourselves if his body holds up. Give him the Captain's armband and Nelson the vice captain and watch them keep us up 🙏
  4. Soumare > Junior Lewis > Joe Aribo (Prove me wrong. I beg you).
  5. Lascelles keeps getting his bonce on it. What is going on? Oh, never mind. Well done, Bobby 🤡🔫
  6. How is it possible to have that many players in our own box and still have no defence?
  7. Am I tripping or did their player just clear our lines for us? 😂
  8. Holy shit! Individual brilliance potentially bails us out again 🙏😅
  9. He even knows and as good as admits that though. It's only our impossibly stupid executive suite that's praying he somehow comes good so they can kick it into the longrass until summer again.
  10. Can't remember the last time I sat down and we were still in the game. Don't even give me a chance to get my drink and nuts together these days.
  11. That's the end of Riccy P then. We knew Aluko should have started, but he didn't want to give the armband straight to Lascelles. Such a shame to tarnish the success he's had with us. Only god knows what he was thinking there. 🙈
  12. I'm sure Rudkin and co are as surprised as us that we didn't get a striker in... They were sure one of them was 😏
  13. Top is more of a simpleton than poisonous I'd say. Rudkin is the one that has snaked his way up to the top by building a bonfire of all the better men that were once around him. Obviously ultimate responsibility lies with Top to see through that though.
  14. That is their current level to be fair and they could kick on from it as good squad players.
  15. Guaranteed first team football with your boyhood club and enough money to keep them happy from players sales might lead to them giving us one season down there, under the right set up. I don't have faith in us to do that, but they are both young enough for it to be a great learning experience and cement them as club legends if they did.
  16. Good start. 👍 Accountability is alien to Top and Rudkin so hopefully this at least leads to them Googling the word.
  17. Savage and Fuchs dream team...
  18. Top, is that you?
  19. Hell of an understatement. Merge this thread with that if you're that bothered. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Scorched earth ✊️
  21. Exactly this. It is entirely Rudkin's fault that he only has a little black crayon book that covers Southampton, Leicester and past it Premier League players, and that he has helped chase anyone with any nouse out of the club.
  22. Goes without saying. 👍
  23. By that I mean it is not at all surprising, but the explanation of 'why?' can only be explored inside the mind of the nepo baby in chief.
