Can't remember the last time I sat down and we were still in the game. Don't even give me a chance to get my drink and nuts together these days.

Laughing stock.

That's the end of Riccy P then. We knew Aluko should have started, but he didn't want to give the armband straight to Lascelles. Such a shame to tarnish the success he's had with us. Only god knows what he was thinking there. 🙈

I'm sure Rudkin and co are as surprised as us that we didn't get a striker in... They were sure one of them was 😏
-
Top is more of a simpleton than poisonous I'd say. Rudkin is the one that has snaked his way up to the top by building a bonfire of all the better men that were once around him. Obviously ultimate responsibility lies with Top to see through that though.
-
That is their current level to be fair and they could kick on from it as good squad players.
-
Guaranteed first team football with your boyhood club and enough money to keep them happy from players sales might lead to them giving us one season down there, under the right set up. I don't have faith in us to do that, but they are both young enough for it to be a great learning experience and cement them as club legends if they did.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Savage and Fuchs dream team... -
Top, is that you?

Hell of an understatement. Merge this thread with that if you're that bothered. 🤷♂️

Scorched earth ✊️

Exactly this. It is entirely Rudkin's fault that he only has a little black crayon book that covers Southampton, Leicester and past it Premier League players, and that he has helped chase anyone with any nouse out of the club.
-
Goes without saying. 👍
-
By that I mean it is not at all surprising, but the explanation of 'why?' can only be explored inside the mind of the nepo baby in chief.
-
What's the opposite of the freedom of Leicester? This guy has earned that.
-
It is unfathomable that this failure is still employed anywhere, let alone at this club.

Don't care about promotion. If we do go down we would have to lean fully into our youth and development setup to get me back on board. Sell all saleable assets such as Fatawu, Khannouss, etc then mutual contract terminations for the rest of the first team failures (as we can't have the toxicity they bring in and around our club anymore) in order to be able to afford to keep our homegrown saleable assets (Nelson, Page, Monga, etc. Stolarczyk Aluko. Nelson. Wilson-Brown. Thomas Page. Braybrooke. Thomas. Alves. Monga. Evans. Subs: Bausor Joseph Choudhury Cartwright Golding Marcal Popov Opoku Pennant Several others I've probably missed. Any notable ones? We could add a few young hungry football league players and if Lascelles or someone similar was up to and for the challenge of staying and captaining them then they could be considered. God forbid we have a team with a similar age of journeymen in League One. That would be phoenix club time.

Yea, you're right, I missed the games in hand for Portsmouth and Charlton have 1 too. It's basically a 5 way shootout between us, West Brom, Blackburn, Norwich & Oxford (that just beat us) to avoid the last 2 relegation spots. 😰🤞
-
Exactly. 😰
-
For me they are both more battle hardened and better equipped for a relegation scrap. Hopefully one of them ends up a bigger basket case than us though 🙏🤞🍀
-
Four worse teams? Are you quite sure? Blackburn, West Brom, Portsmouth, Norwich and Charlton (who just beat us at home) are our competition. I'd say we are favourites to go down without a radical uptick in performance now. I'd only fancy us to beat Portsmouth out of that lot. Not to mention we just lost to Oxford who are below all of them.
-
Got lucky again, but still puts us level on points with West Brom in 22nd (who are much better equipped for a relegation scrap than us) and is a new low in the clubs history. Dare I ask how the KP Nutters are spinning this?
