Seems like any progress we make is in spite of him (and all of our other shortcomings above him). Has made some baffling decisions, but today's were in a league of their own. As I said in the match thread at the time; taking a combative midfielder off in James, for a regularly anonymous striker in Daka, whilst we were under the koshe, was basically choosing to play with 10 men... and the obvious result ensued. 🤷‍♂️

Sure, but most sides will finish outside the play-offs. He would be the 2nd best CB at 90% of the teams in this league... With Nelson alongside him he's no longer a problem for us though.

Meh! I was never Marti out. Our problems are all above him and only in solving them would we know if he's up to it. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that some of the decisions around Faes and Winks, etc have been due to interference from above in that though.
