Just listened to the podcast, really good. Rishi Patel came across really well and the future is definitely bright for him….

a bit concerned with the Wright situation though. Smoke and mirrors.

So, Pete will be our new T20 skipper. Solid batter , calm and very well respected within the camp. Onwards and upwards!

Where is this podcast available to listen to?

Anyone been to restaurant two six three behind high cross? Looks high end

I’ve been three times. It’s a 5 course taster menu, which changes weekly. All food purchased locally start of the week and the chef knocks something up using it. I’ve never been disappointed and the portions are a good size.

  3. The club have got what they wanted.

Certain members of the club hierarchy have promoted certain demographics, whilst seemingly demonising other demographics of the fan base.

You only have to look at photos of our away ends and you’ll realise 👍

Then you’ll see why the atmosphere is so bad.

You do realise his move to Fulham broke down on the last day of the summer transfer window? Paulina(sp?) Fell through going to Bayern.

McAtee was at our TG as the replacement.

We didn’t accept Fulham’s bid so I would hardly say that it “broke down”

Wouldn't mind Richard Gleeson if he could stay fit. Assume he'll be grabbing whatever T20 gigs he can round the world mixed with club pro-ing in Lancashire now they've let him go though.

I wonder if he would fancy a T20 only contract? We seem short in that department, particularly if Naveen doesn’t return. Worth the punt and has ties locally as he was at Northants previously?

Shame about Finan started well but always injured. A fast Left arm option is always great to have in a squad especially ours which lacks an out n out pace option.

    Hopefully Kimber is re-signed too.

I’m sure his debut was in the one day cup where he was slapped all over the park. I can’t remember one good performance from Finan, only bowling 4 wides in a row at Headingley in the Blast that didn’t even bounce on the wicket. Awful player.

Hull is a far superior left arm quick option.

Given he’s from Oxfordshire way, he’ll surely be staying as I doubt he’d have been talking to another club on the sly. Probably doesn’t want to uproot his kids at the age they are.

Richard Rae was saying on the stream that he lives Solihull way and his kids are settled and then commented on rumours that he may have agreed a two year deal here. 🤞

  8. Swindells proving that he is more than useful as a back up batsman, if not a starter, across all formats. Unlikely to be demanding a huge wage either and a local lad, surely a contract offer on the table and Taylor can get the best out of him…

Nico said he was a player that was highly confidence dependent, so perhaps he really does have the mentality but cannot overcome a mental block. Let’s hope that final is the catalyst. I remember he had an excellent knock in the T20 quarter vs Notts when that last ball Dieter Klein misfield cost us…

I wonder if that's why Tom Wilson-Brown is currently training with the 1st team, it looks to me that he's the only 1 from the development squad currently training with the 1st team other than the likes of McAteer etc who have started in the last few weeks.

Obviously he is highly thought of by the management team anyone got any thoughts on him, his bio says he's a left sided CB & that's about as much as i know of him.

The three times I’ve seen him play, I’ve thought he wouldn’t even get a sniff at getting on the bench for Oadby Town. Another poor defender in our youth setup.

Kinda why it's down to us to force good behaviours at the club

It shouldn’t be on us. It’s clearly evident to both clubs that people who have avid interests in football and cricket will likely support both clubs.

LCFC quick to promote anything to do with diversity or pride or Thailand but your sister local cricket club… nahhh. No sympathy at all from me.

Let's all drop them an Email to prompt them (and remind them that they've done it for the Riders before, and I think the County some years back as well) ...

    https://www.lcfc.com/club/contact?lang=en

I reckon any (or both) of these two Emails:

    LCFC Help:  [email protected]

Leicester City in the Community:   [email protected]

I wouldn’t bother, the hierarchy at LCFC are so far detached from this City that Saturdays events highlighted to me how little interest I have in them any longer, sadly.

Edit: LCFC didn’t even host a FA Cup trophy parade nor did we take it for a lap around the ground once fans were allowed back in to the ground.
