Surprised at Hills exclusion yesterday, I know he picked up a knock at Worcestershire but he hit a good 60 odd at Derbyshire in a friendly on Wednesday and offers a calm head batting whilst Welch, Budinger and Lilley go mental.
A couple of changes needed tonight. Would squeeze Scriven in too, good all rounder option. For me, if you’ve got Welch and Budinger opening, I’d be pushing Lilley down the order to 6/7 or not playing him at all, more times than not we will end up 3 down by the end of the power play.

Start the Cov poison dwarf on the bench again and let’s have a proper TEAM performance again. Never want to see the “James Maddison Show” again.

If we get relegated we should pitch invade. There are a few of them that deserve the Cameron Toner treatment 👍

Can’t imagine yesterday’s side is too far off that we should expect on Thursday then.
Hill being rested after a knock at Worcestershire will be back I would imagine, most likely for Swindells. Naseem in for Davis or Finan.
I presume Kimber must be injured?

I’m so angry, most shambolic and disgraceful umpiring performance I’ve seen!!!! If we don’t kick up a fuss about the SIX PLUM LBWS not given then we should be ashamed. SHAMBLES!!

Why on Earth did we go with two nightwatchmen?

Only in the warmup fixtures with a second string XI.

We were offered Henry Brookes last week before Derbyshire were but declined as we have too many similar bowlers…

Just realised our T20 match at Old Trafford is 12:30 on a Thursday(!!) with the Charlotte Edwards Cup following.
Even if I asked for the time off work I'm on Jury Service during that time (potentially) so that's a bummer. Luckily due to the change in time, I can refund it, but I enjoy going there to see us play.Where have you seen this? Still listed as 18:30 on LCCC website. Was hoping to get up there for it

Ironically, watching the stream today, there was swathes of disgruntled Yorkshire fans that were not happy that they didn’t declare sooner!

Should be more concerned about if there will be any fans left with the current exponential rate at which the club are banning people. They’ll be begging them back next season 🤡

Jim Donnelly for me. Showed how exemplary he is as liaison manager. I think the next step up is first team manager.

Jim Donnelly and the ticket office gestapo.

I'd take Lilley out and put Steel in.
I agree. Always liked Steel and with Budinger/Welch big hitters and quick scorers up top with him, he would compliment well. Sadly, Steel out of favour with certain people in power…

Growing increasingly optimistic with each passing day about this season. There is a real positive feel around the club at the moment.
How do we reckon we will line up for the T20?
Something along the lines of:
Welch
Budinger
Kimber
Hill
Ackermann
Mulder
Lilley
Ahmed
Scriven
Parkinson
Naveen
With Swindells, Steel and Patel as good back up options. Turn Grace Road into a real spinning wicket and bowl a good 12 overs of spin with Parky, Ahmed and Ackermann.

Reading the Royal Standard has had a refurb. You just know that will have been shit.
I’ve been in since and I’d say that they have actually done a good job of it, surprisingly. Layout all very similar, and much of the character has remained. Sadly, the jukebox is gone, however, songs are played loud and proud still through a new speaker system where requests can be made. Pool table has been sacrificed for an additional interactive darts board, however, the pool table could potentially still make a return I’m told. The diabolical toilets have been refurbished. All in all, done a good job I think. It still feels like a proper pub and much the same clientele are frequenting which is a sign of that. Oh, and the Leicester City 93/94 promotion car sticker has survived in the back room window 🤣

It’s quite clearly evident that certain powers to be at the club don’t want a certain demographic attending games. You can all figure the age, gender and race out.
This is disgraceful. The final nail in the coffin for me, I’ll take my money where it’s welcome now. I’ve become alienated with the way this club treats this core vocal group of supporters for a long sustained period of time now.
I suspect that the Ginettas won’t be randomly selected or any of Jim Donnellys army of Coach One front row happy clappers.
Plenty of local non league clubs that will welcome our support.

My most memorable was coming back from an away match at Blackburn. We had stopped at the services for a Burger King and there was Gary Taylor Fletcher in his full Blackpool tracksuit munching down a chicken royale meal. He signed for us not long after.

When you have players (clowns) like James Maddison running the changing room then I think it’s quite obvious what the answer is. Especially as he hasn’t been injured…

This absolute b**** crying about players thinking they would get moves to big clubs yet he is the biggest culprit of all in that he’s always been touting himself for a “step up”.
Voldemort has made this club rotten to the core. He stinks. He’s ruined us. He is the second coming of Peter Taylor, even he had us looking good for a spell before it went south and took years to recover. The same is happening again.

Maddison

No, the tools are people like you that stand there clapping the bunch of muppets off after relegation and blindly defend players with weak mentalities and poor attitudes. Maddison’s attitude in the changing room, on the training ground and off the pitch has been a major influence on other players and dressing room harmony. He is toxic.
