im not quite sure where you got the idea from that he ever thought it would be in and out Venezuela style. He’s always said it would take a few weeks and there will be likely loss of American servicemen lives. I’m 100% sure they saw the oil prices jumping and that’s why they got Venezuela first. His recent comments about it almost being over were purely to steady the oil market and being the oil price down and it worked although I’m sure it’s only temporary. Iran have been preparing for this moment for decades. Why would anyone think it would be over in a day?

I think we might get to the stage when a team of special ops troops go in and they take the enriched uranium with them.. the facilities can be rebuilt to further purify the enriched uranium, but take the uranium and that, along with the sanctions, will set them back decades. one interesting point I was reading the other day.. ever since the Iranian revolution in 1979, every single American President, republican OR democrat have gone on record as saying Iran must not have a nuclear weapon. Clinton and Obama were probably two of the most vocal, actually. But yeah… I’m sure they preferred diplomacy..

And I think that’s why America and Israel ‘must’ bring about regime change. Especially now. It’s really the point of no return.

I think what people have to realize is that what constitutes victory for the United States is different to what constitutes Victory for Iran. For Iran, regime survival and to be in control of their own decisions is victory, it doesn’t matter about their navy, their air force or missile stockpile. If their regime survives and they get to choose their own leaders, then they’ve won.

I will just add that the Israeli army.. and Mossad and all things Israeli.. the more I read about them… there isn’t a more ruthless group of people on the planet to getting a job done and thinking they are the ‘good guys’ i read just a little while ago a recently unclassified document where a civilian who worked cross border between Gaza and Israel heard of a plot of a group of terrorists to cross the border and attack an army guard post.. told the Israelis about it. Israelis told him to help them cross and named the area, time and place to cross the border and just told him to get out of the way moments before the designated spot. Came to the day and Israel decided to attacking the vehicle several minutes and miles before agreed time and place knowing full well their informant was in the vehicle as they wanted to make sure nothing got in the way of stopping the attack. I mean, you can’t get more crappy than that… purposefully killing your own informant.. so nothing would surprise me with Israel involved.
