  1. Be interesting if we could compare the same with other clubs in and around us, if anyone can be arsed. What is a good strike rate to ''get it right''? We also won't have the benefit of seeing their new signings week in week out compared to our own but I'm thinking of Everton as an immediate example, they have bought some dog rough players over the past few years.
  2. He did but he is levels ahead of Braybooke to be fair
  3. Does that sit with Academy manager?
  4. He went on loan and it didn't work out, this happens.
  5. It makes the Daily Mail look like a credible news outlet. Needs shutting down
  6. Hang on a minute this is way too positive
  7. Ok but you get my point, the fact remains we didn't breach PSR. We lawyered up and represented ourselves well to navigate really poorly drafted rules, which any business can do by the way and is commonplace with dispute resolution. I'd rather we did that than lay there and became the Premier League Bonnie Blue and get rogered in front of everyone. It's given us the best opportunity to survive and time for the football to do the talking.
  8. Not sure what that means. I know the PSR rules are there to protect the big 6. Most if not all clubs in the PL are backed by wealthy owners and are suffocated by the rules rather than their ability to keep a club solvent. In that case are you pushing for the wealthy clubs to have their own competition, a bit like the European Super League, so that way they are in their own competition away from clubs like ours who can;'t compete.
  9. But we didn't, we were compliant with PSR - we just changed our accounting year end by a month. It's like saying we nearly slipped in dog shit but we avoided it on a technicality. We still avoided the dog shit at the end of the day and it wasn't trampled through the house.
  10. For balance most clubs outside of the top 6 have had to do the same. The daft rules are designed to keep the big clubs compliant and the minions like us, forest, villa, everton, wolves etc etc scratting around
  11. Starbucks do, thats old news.
  12. He's in control of all footballing matters so he is well aware of how important PSR is.
  13. Daily Mail I'm afraid but he's made some serious dough https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13787273/Mark-Goldbridges-STAGGERING-earnings-2023-controversial-Man-United-YouTuber-blamed-causing-problems-Old-Trafford-year.html
  14. But But But he's in charge of the budget and all football matters remember? Sarcasm before there is any tears
  15. The difference is the language used before was ''probably, maybe, might do, could do etc'' He's used language which is completely different today. Can you not see the difference?
  16. 55 pages on the other thread crying about it.... Some fans again will be gutted at this news! Up the foxes
  17. He isn't a current international footballer. I haven't got a narrative I don't really think Winks is the biggest problem in our squad, just pointing out he isnt an international footballer. Was David Nugent an England international when he played for us then? Of course he wasn't, same principle.
  18. If you live in market bosworth for example or anywhere south of the county then yes it is further away. One of the players lives/lived on the park mkt Bosworth - long road opposite the park with some decent houses
  19. A bit tricky to drive there but I get your point
  20. Thanks for the top tip, didn't think of that.
  21. I think its probably status quo at most top clubs these days. Given the money and status of these players no-one in the right mind will want to be squatting next to Leicester Train station. In agreement there are plenty of nice places to set roots in the county. I guess we have the advantage of being from here and have the know how, if someone said to me find a house in Southampton I wouldn't know where to start, even harder if you're a foreign player coming ober to this country for the first time.
  22. West Bridgeford to Seagrave will be quicker than some parts of Leicestershire to Seagrave.
  23. He's fit an available for Ruud, so not sure why it's down the club? We;ve got him on a long term deal to protect his value and the current manager isn't interested in picking him? Neither was the last or the one before that. He just needs a loan and a run of 15 games in the second part of the season - if it doesn't happen then we must not have clubs breaking the door down to take him on, or he's turning them down.
  24. Manuel could do a better job
  25. It's to distract from Rachel in accounts groundbreaking MEGA DEAL with China, worth £600m over 5 years £/$ now 1.21, wonder when it falls below 1.20.
