It's hard to believe reading through all these threads but we have to accept the few hundred regular contributors on this forum are the MINORITY when it comes to the fan base, who on the whole aren't bothered and happy to continue supporting the club whatever happens, whoever owns us, whoever is on the board and whatever drivel we put out at 3pm on a Saturday. I hate the term happy clappers but its recognised as a definition. We simply don't have it in us as a fan base to turn our back for a season or two (en masse) and rock the boat. Quite clear, plenty of people on here who every single post is a whinge against the club but have renewed their season ticket for a variety of reasons, family, friends or whatever - so effectively are enabling it. At some point enough is enough and the ship hasn't sank deep enough for some of the fanbase. I've been a ST holder for 15+ years, not as long as plenty on here - and I enjoyed the social aspect, sat with my dad and brother etc, but I can see them outside of a football setting and probably have way more fun than at the KP - in my view it's an excuse. Everyone can rant and rave on here, the terrace or within a fan group but unless the numbers are there nothing is going to change.

On those sums of money those rates are really common, what are you expecting, base rate plus 1%? Go out an look in the personal loans market to get a flavour of rates these days - mostly double digit. That 8 or 9% quoted will be a mixture of base rate and margin, and will come down when the base rate reduces and the margin could come down if we meet certain financial covenants anyway - still not out the market at all,

Borrow you mean. Don't know in all honesty, haven't got the full picture but presuming it's pretty common to get an advance on TV money, and/or parachute payments - if we are unable to pay the money back to the lender on current terms it will either be refinanced or we will need more money from Top. My general point is the lender will know we are in a up and down environment with no guarantees of PL TV money forever so presumably there will be some security, likely from Top that will be the back stop if they want their money back. In terms of interest rates from another poster comparing it to pay day loans is laughable.

I don't think the rates are eye watering at all and market rate considering the sums involved and current interest rate levels. So what rates are you referring to?

Do you think any reputable lender will lend significant sums of money without security, not to mention financial covenants - that have to be watertight enough to be audited and signed off by both directors and in our case PwC every year? This is not a post in support of KP, but people seem to think we can do what we want without any form of regulation - or any other club for that matter. I've got a decent level of experience in leveraged business' and the amount of work involved in arranging finance in the 0-£30m market is staggering (and that's in a relatively stable industry sector) never mind a football club which is inherently unstable, with financial forecasts that chop and change depending on the division you play in etc.

We have a Simba (bought 8 years ago) and personally think it's great, in fact if I sleep on anything else it gives me a dodgy back. I fell for all their marketing stuff and got the pillows and duvet too. Would 100% recommend.

This sounds like a Nissan plug to me You can't compare a micra to the legendary Renault 5 - I think they probably focused on the outside and the fact it was such an iconic car, and left the inside as meh.

The Renault 5 EV looks really smart and fun, not practical for most but looks like a right laugh of a car, I reckon it will be really popular as an alternative for a mini cooper.
