Was The Maccabees gigs one of there final ones? They never reached great heights over here but saw them play a couple of months before they announced they were splitting and it was one of the best gigs I've been to and not many there. 2017 Highlights. Gang of Youths one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Smith Street Band Cub Sport Jungle Giants

Brady was horrendous in todays game, not seen him play that bad for well ever.

An Aussies perspective. With all due respect to Moeen Ali not selecting a spinner so far has been a mistake for you guys. Apart from Anderson with the new pill under lights in the 2nd Innings in Adelaide, not being able to swing the ball of great note has been an issue for all your bowlers. It just means you end up having 4 blokes that all bowl pretty similar and a batter who bowls some spin who isn't spinning it. When the ball isn't swinging which for the most part it hasn't been neither of the 5 pace bowlers who you've picked so far are going to trouble you with pace. Think they have also been bowling a foot shorter than required. A few of you have also stated and I agree completely that Bairstow is batting too low. "He Bat's Well with the tail" may be true but if his on 100no he is going to bat even better with the tail surely. It really is 2 average Cricket sides but we have the added advantage of playing at home and in test cricket the home advantage is extremely significant. Our Bowling attack at home at least is quality but our batting is heavily reliant on Smith to make runs or Warner, the rest of them aren't that great but do show glimpses. 3rd Test, WACA ground hasn't been the WACA of years gone by and hasn't really for a few years with runs being made in Shield Games there this year. There is still some life in the pitch but not as volatile as it used to be. Spinners do end up doing well on the pitch as there turn and bounce. Again Broad and Anderson pick themselves as they have the credits in the bank, I think you should pick a spinner and if there is any English player out there that have pace or ideally pace and left armer for some variety. Also how many more chances does Cook have? Don't get me wrong great player and frustrated us more than enough times but hasn't looked the player he once was.

2nd last game of the group. Japan 17 points Saudi Arabia 16 points Australia 16 points Last Game Saudi v Japan and Australia v Thailand (2pts). So winner of this game Australia v Japan will automatically go thru but both teams get another chance in the last game. 3rd also gets a play off spot which is v 3rd in the other Asia group then winner plays 5th in South America I believe.

SOCCERROO FOX replied to Fez of Mahrez's topic in Leicester City Forum
Literally just finished reading for the 2nd time still battle to get thru the lat 30 or 40 pages with out tearing up like a big bearded baby. The whole season was such a roller coaster but for me flying over too see us lift the trophy and the parade words can't describe but this book helps a plenty. -
Any of you lads been to a Rebel Sport recently? Can't post a photo but all sizes of this seasons city shirts. $119

Cracking first week of matches I thought. Some close games and some upsets which is what you want. My Bengals just got up too.
-
Yep everyone is in the same boat, no one knows how to get fetch TV and how much etc. Will the coverage be any good etc.Shame as coverage on Foxtel was good and had every game live most people had it as did pubs, now it's a nightmare
-
I've got no ideal not sorted out my Optus yet either

Any of you lads making the hike? Can't wait for it 12 hours plus of live coverage and it starts just when i get home from work. I've been golf punting a different way recrntly which has served me well. Load up on a few golfers first round leader each way and if i go any good I'll bet after the 1st or 2nd round on someone to win it. Believe the Morning groups with the weather will be at an advatage tomorrow.

Gold the colour of first! It stands out as a backing behind Wes a white background wouldn't work. Pre-ordered aswell can we send the book to number one? Is there a number one for books? -

Leicestershire County Cricket Club
SOCCERROO FOX replied to Sods's topic in General Football and Sport
It was more a case of poor batting than bad pitch, pitch was doing a little bit but nothing outrageous. When your losing wickets to blokes having swipes at one outside off that's poor batting not poor pitch -
Anyone got any tips I can lose my money on for York Today?
