  1. Yeah, my blind panic missed that... now my issue is that because I've brought other seats, its not letting me check out on the renewal. Hopefully its a simple fix if I call them up in the morning.
  2. Did anyone else get any communication about the season tickets being released?
  3. Yeah, I balls'd up a bit in my panic and didnt realise, so got other seats. It looks like they are still holding my seats at the moment, so hopefully still the case in the morning so I can call them and get it switched again... fingers crossed...
  4. Season tickets are on sale, just FYI. Did I miss something? I was hoping to keep hold of my seats but because they've just randomly dropped something, they've gone...
  5. Their Instagram also confirms that they have signed too. Shame they haven't given indications of new contract lengths... I'd expect some of them to probably be 1-year, particularly for those like Cain and Shannon who weren't on the cards to stay and only have done so because moves didnt materialise elsewhere.
  6. Wow... that's an even thinner squad than I realised.
  7. Late September/early October. Its starting a bit later due to the Euros, but not sure how much later.
  8. I am so relieved we have got some good news! Whilst there's still a lot of work to be done, this is a move in the right direction!
  9. I don't think she was massively challenged to be fair, with the shoddy defence in front of her, there was little she could do. I do think she's a great back-up goalkeeper option. Doubt there's many clubs that have an international as their back-up goalie.
  10. I think inevitable may be a bit too defeatist. The team is still very capable of getting results, particularly at home where a lot of the time we look like we could beat anyone. Assuming we don't bring anyone in, of course we are in trouble and will be in a battle, but I don't think we're immediate relegation fodder.
  11. Genuinely gutting, our standout player since joining, you know what you are going to get from her every single game. I'd take a team of Momiki's any day, maybe even in goal.
  12. Exactly, an investment on the pitch will bring success and in turn greater and greater attendance. If we were able to get in before it does indeed become too expensive (which we are starting to see with the £1m transfer for Olivia Smith), then we could solidify ourselves as at least a top half WSL team, particularly as no one else seems to see the opportunity. But leave it too late and playerflation will take effect like it has in the men's game.
  13. I find it odd that no other clubs have taken a approach like arsenal and Chelsea in really investing in their womens team considering the relatively very low cost of players, especially compared to the men's game. Even if the owners don't care about the women's team, at very least success will be good marketing for the club and eyes on the club. Its a win/win. But no other club seems to see it.
  14. Preferably in please! With all those we will lose at the end of contracts, im not sure we can afford to sell many/any. God forbid we have another injury crisis, end up playing half a squad of academy players.
  15. I want to reserve judgement until we have an actual list of people that are being released, but without Yuka alone I am worried...
  16. Interesting that Rantala has been included in Finland's euros squad...
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4grnrg8dy8o Expansion to the league is all but confirmed then. Its probably the best case scenario to be fair. In summary, next season; - Top 2 of WSL2 get automatic promotion - Bottom of WSL gets a playoff with 3rd place from WSL2 Then the season after the permanent structure will be that: - WSL2 winner gets promotion - Bottom of WSL gets relegated - WSL2 runner up and 2nd Bottom side of WSL have a play-off Im happy with that, gives a bit more jeopardy than just 1 team facing relegation

  19. Assuming that Sao and Momiki are relatively close, being national teammates and coming from the same club to Leicester, I hope this doesn't sway Momiki to leave...
  20. That's a shame, I did like her, but out of all of those out of contract she's probably one that I'm least fussed about loosing.
  21. Not many from our club that are going to feature i don't think, just Cain off the top of my head... But transfers aren't really as prevalent in the women's game compared to the men's, more often than not clubs look for free agents first. At least outside of those in the top 4-5.
  22. Yeah, don't get me wrong, it's still a big "IF", but there's hope. As we know with our club, its the hope that kills you most times, but I'll remain optimistic for now.
  23. Great news, tie them down for a year or two to keep our foundations, build on top of that with a couple of decent new signings and I will be a lot more enthused about the new season.
  24. Just seen that the Men's team season ticket renewal has been done, ect... Does anyone know when the women's renewal will be?
  25. Men's team release list has been published... Women's team pending?
