  1. ('scuse the odd fatfingers. It's late).
  2. I'm an old git so I get my plastic for nowt. When I logged in to renewal the season ticket there were some words about choosing the card but no box to tick or link to click. I went through the whole process but never saw mention again of the plastic option. Went to my page on the lcfc.com website and called up my tickets and it showed a "download to wallet" option but nothing as regards choosing plastic. Then I googled and alighted here, where I found enough clues to keep looking. After logging out, then logging back in to the lcfc.com page there was now a drop-down menu under "tickets" and one choice was "buy season card". To be clear, you only seem to be able to get to this point once you've renewed your season ticket. There's then a list of charges applying to each category of ticket holder, including "free" for those 65+. But you still have to click on "buy" then make sure it's being applied to your own ticket (or someone you've linked to if you're doping the honours for them) and then "go to basket". For freebies like me there's no box for putting in payment details, but you still need to keep hitting the orange boxes as if you were paying for it. You then get a page confirming your "purchase" with a note saying the card will be posted in good time before the first home match. You also get a confirming email, just as you will already have received when you bought the season ticket renewal. Hope that's clear.
  3. There are scammers on these apps who advertise strangers' driveways and the app companies aren't keen to weed them out. So...just have a plan B in case the householder appears and kicks you off!
  4. Exactly the same thing happened to us. Got to the bank authorisation stage but the Bank Fraud Alert went ballistic. I think the third party was edreams or something. We then tried booking direct with the airlines but by then we were well into the Channel on a ferry and lost the signal. Booked Manchester to Eindhoven via Schipol the following morning, for around £150. Lesson learned. DO NOT select the third party agent - ALWAYS deal withe the carrier.
  5. but then you have to carry them around with you. - they are quite heavy.
  6. Lotsa folk (including me) still waiting for the programme ordered online. My order was sent in on 28th April. I'm guessing the mailouts have been suspended while they find somebody's ass to kick. I've just been down to the shop this morning and bought from there. If the one I ordered turns up damaged I'll simply get my money back. If it arrives in good order, then I hope my wife will enjoy reading it on her birthday.
  7. Hi folks. Thanks for all your help. Happy ending. Despite him having successfully changed his email account a few years ago, notifying the club, and seeing it correctly displayed on his profile, it seems there is a separate ticketing database and someone missed out the "dot" when they altered it, so it read "outlookcom". He had no way of knowing they had made this mistake, particularly as the database they use for their mailshots correctly showed his new email address so he was getting all that stuff. He insists he's now ticked the boxes, submitted his ERP form with the ticky box(es) ticked, and booked his lateral flow test for Friday morning. He's also on the bus. I'd just managed to get onto the phone queue this afternoon and had been hanging for 35 minutes when a lady actually answered. She didn't want to discuss any details with me as he's over 18, but she said it had already been sorted via an email query. (The email I told him to send several days ago but which he only sent last night) . My lad actually messaged to say it was sorted but I didn't see it as I was hanging on the phone in the queue. Bloomin' kids, eh?
  8. I try to live a simple life. I'm sure he goes straight in through the normal log in, in which case he should see the unfiltered stuff and all his junk too. Thanks for the education.
  9. Thanks. My son has also managed to submit a consent form and book a lateral flow test using links from the email I received. I've been down to the KPS this morning, and was told they aren't dealing with any queries in store - you need to phone the dedicated ticket number - not much help though as the number has been so busy you can't even join the queue.
  10. You'll hopefully explain that one to me. I'm old and daft. My son uses an ordinary web-based Outlook email account.
  11. Anyone else failed to receive the confirmatory email regarding their Cup Final ticket purchase? My son has the confirmation on his account page the LCFC website but no email. The email gives links to the consent form and the COVID testing sites and he's managed to sort those two out using my email links. But the concern is that the email sending him his "print at home" ticket will similarly disappear into the ether. He's double checked his junk mail and his old email address. I've tried phoning the club this morning but their switchboard is jammed. Next job for me is to drive down to the KPS and queue all morning. Any ideas folks?
  12. There's some jokers posting on foxestalk
  13. Maybe The Birch is hanging up his mic?
  14. It's bad in the same way that everyone was moaning at our Govt for not shutting our borders in March to keep the plague carriers out. It's not just about whether you put yourself at less risk. It's also about putting other people at greater risk.
