I don’t get some of the comments, we’ve been relegated, playing awful stuff and lost some bigs players… we’ve spent nothing, got the manager in late and we’re still almost averaging 2 points per game. WHAT DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT? Give the manager a chance, it’s mental what some fans are saying.

Whilst I understand and appreciate that, it seems to be one of our only options at the moment… sucks having a striker who can’t control or pass a ball correctly (I hate being unsupportive of players).
-
I believe he gets the “hate” due to his age and lack of sell-on-ability. His qualities are hold up play and the ability to get free-kicks, helping take pressure off of us and also drive us up the pitch. He does hold onto the ball too long, can play it quicker (but doesn’t). Whether that’s his style of play or is being told to hold onto it longer to ensure supporting runs are made, I don’t know. I for one am happy with how he’s started and worked this season, although I would like to see Carranza in his position to see what the difference is.

Perfectly summarised, the lad was trying too hard. First start for us, a little rash but it was never a red, one foot was still on the ground didn’t fly in to the challenge and was in control just poorly timed. either way, I look forward to seeing him play and hopefully this won’t happen again. -
Morbid curiosity, it’s a strange feeling… possibly something wrong/engrained or wired wrong in my brain.

The close up video does not look good. It looked fatal, I can’t see any good news coming in the next few hours.

Our strongest 11 now we know our squad.

This is the team I’d go with too, I think this is the starting lineup for Oxford (assuming all are fit). Possibly Hamza for Ricardo, still think he’ll need a bit more time to be fully fit. -
I get that they don’t rate him but we’re nowhere near the level of Feyenoord. I’m happy with any link at this moment in time.

I don’t know if this is real or not, if it is then surely it’s encouraging? Would like FoxinMad’s thoughts.
-
I knew he had the record, couldn’t remember he smashed it by that much!!!! I revise my previous statement, if a player creates that many “big chances” he’s worth big money 😅
-
Doesn’t Fatawu have the record for most big chances created in the Championship? Pretty sure he beat the likes of G. Rutter who Leeds sold for over €46m (reportedly). Surely he’s worth similar or more than that as he’s a winger? I get he’s been injured and working his way back. But I agree 50-60m is a little mental… who knows in a few years he might be worth that much.

Whilst I despise what you’ve said about Ricardo, it was genuinely hilarious.

Thank you for sharing this graphic as a whole for the season, is it possible to grab/make one for when he wasn’t injured? As you and everyone knows he was playing a large part injured, was it the Newcastle game he did himself in and was substituted at half time?
-
I find it funny how some aren’t bothered by this and saying he’s nothing special, the guy (when not injured) was proving to be one of the best GK’s in the league if I’m not mistaken. He saved more goals than he should have let in and was outstanding in a number of games for us. I for one will be sad to see him go, he’ll go on to have one hell of a career in my opinion. If it’s £20m then that’s decent, would have wanted more but beggars can’t be choosers. Let’s hope Jakob does the business, if not we have a decent backup in. AB.
-
David Connolly? The striker who we made a profit of when we sold to West Ham? Wouldn’t put him as a bad signing if we made money on him… but each to their own. My top pick would be Josh Low or Robbie Neilson.

Please be true, I wanted him to join us just before Cooper did.

Ipswich away 2nd November Match Thread

Already had one too many? No idea who you’re on about 😂 -
Sound mate… no GK, what can go wrong 😂

Pragmatic, was a word used to describe Cooper… the actual definition is “dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations.” The fullback situation is one that with Justin being a RW/RB is horrendous, how many times has he been done over and goals coming from his side of the pitch? I believe you could put Kyle Walker/ prime Dani Alves / Frimpong and they’d look just as bad as JJ this season. The tactic isn’t working and causing a player to seem like a total fraud. If Ricardo was playing constantly we’d be saying the same things, it’s not the player it’s the poor formation/role. We’re very fortunate that we picked up some wins recently. A win against Ipswich would be massive, however I see a dark cloud over our heads till New Year… I fear Winter is coming.

Southampton 2 - 3 Leicester POST MATCH
FoxesFan100 replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
I understand what you’re saying, we were meant to struggle… and we are, every game seems to be an uphill task. We’re constantly having to fight back from poor starts, poor refereeing decisions, poor tactics and we’re making it work. Is that due to Cooper? Is this the tactics every game? If so it’s a struggle, a genuine struggle. -
Southampton 2 - 3 Leicester POST MATCH

I actually feel like this, my elation at that winner soon turned to “Cooper still hasn’t got a clue”. It really is a strange feeling. I fail to understand how a manager who apparently watched all our games last season doesn’t use Fatawu and Mavadidi at the same time… look what happens when he did. His decisions really make me wonder what he’s trying to do. That, I think, is what’s really frustrating fans and wanting him out. -
Hahaha, this is what Cooper has done to my brain, turned it to mush… imagine how to players feel. Ahem, Cooper needs to go.

For the first time in my life I’m actually calling for a manger to go. I’m usually happy as long as I can see what the plan is, what the ethos is, what we’re actually trying to do. I see nothing… no style of play no actual passing moves or decent shape. We’re so lopsided it’s unreal. At the risk of sounding overdramatic I actually get a sense of dread and anxiety watching us play. Watching how we’re constantly camped on the edge of our box. This manager has turned us into a disgusting team to watch. Potter needs to go ASAP.
