  1. I get it, he is highly rated and likely to turn out to be an incredible player. The point I was trying g to make, albeit worded poorly was this. If all clubs had a wage cap for U20 players you’d likely see them stay at clubs they’ve come up through and then move for more £** in the future and not just go to prem clubs on tribunal compensation. (Monga aside, I believe his family got that much for us). Either way, you can’t tell me it’s not crazy money for someone so young.
  2. Giving me Topps tiles vibes, flipping vile
  3. Mental kinds of money for such young players. I really believe that all clubs shouldn’t be able to offer that kind of money to anyone under the age of 20 year old.
  4. Some might argue he’s worse…
  5. I agree, hopefully this will make players take note. Standards are being set in pre-season and letting them know early that mistakes or poor bits of play are going to be called out is good in my opinion. However, great bits of play should be praised.
  6. I see this signing as very similar to when we sign Kevin Phillips. Can’t really find a negative other than the injury record.
  7. Seems to be the in thing on this forum🤣
  8. I don’t understand why “fans” want a manager to fail, if he fails so do we… makes zero sense.
  9. I don’t know, I think a move might be good for all parties. We get a decent fee (hopefully) and he has a move to premier league champions and a path to first team football at Arsenal. Honestly, as much I don’t like it, it’s a no brainer.
  10. Said it the moment that useless moron came on, Thomas is woeful. He should never wear this shirt again, no defensive IQ or position knowledge.
  11. Thomas is actually awful isn’t he? I’m all for encouraging players, but he just has no awareness or defensive or positional IQ…
  12. We can hope!
  13. Semenyo still played for Bournemouth when he was all but signed for Man City. Similar to this situation?
  14. I feel for him, he’s been given no help. Knows we have issues with a group of players who clearly don’t want to play for us and can’t do anything about it. No manager will get a tune out of a majority of these players. He’s brought in three players, one was a flop, one unfortunately always injured and the other has been incredibly good for us (now injured). What more can be expected of him? When all he was allowed was loan players. People who say the youth academy is the way to go just need to look at Aluko when he was given a start… This season was all about consolidation and getting through and staying in the league with the points deduction incoming. I know fans want success and a better style of football but what and how is that possible when you have such a weak squad and one that isn’t good enough?
  15. The Leicester Hospital’s Charity kit! That kit is lovely, it’s a shame it wouldn’t be used for the rest of the season. If only we could have it for good, or a different Leicester Charity every game. I for one would buy it in a heartbeat.
  16. Wholeheartedly agree, they were dangerous and they were pushing to get the second… but they didn’t, the players held on and fought for that result. That can only be a positive sign, they can do it in tough situations, they just need to maintain it going forward. I would love if we had that 1st half every game, maybe we’ll see that more often going forward.
  17. You say bizarre, and to an extent I agree. However, what a confidence boost for the young lads to be trusted to see out a game and at local rivals too in some tough situations. We saw fight and passion, that’s why we want back. This result (not necessarily the full performance) could and should be a catalyst and blueprint for the rest of the season!
  18. How did we score yesterday? Must be seriously confused with how JJ scored… or am I missing your point?
  19. So you’ve written off no one 😅
  20. The reaction to the injustice of a penalty which never was, was so pleasing. We showed grit determination and some quality finishes. There were some great bits of play, but also some poor control of the ball too. Very very happy with where we’re at with this team. A very good result leading into the International break.
  21. Again, we say a player isn’t good enough based on less than a full game of minutes. personally think there is a player who does need more time. You can see he was rusty on the shot, however was defended really well by the CB. He was more physical, should have had a free kick when literally wrestled off the ball. The optimist in me reckons he can do a job for us, just needs some more minutes. He surely can’t be any worse than Daka (my patience has gone with him, he needs a new club).
  22. Never a penalty, an absolutely disgusting decision. However don’t give the ref a chance to give it.
  23. Super impressed by the work rate of BDC and Daka
