  1. selling it? I can't even find a copy to buy in the shops anywhere! Will have to go order it off shopto.
  2. I tried to get this again yesterday but it had sold out. Again. Not having much luck getting hold of it. As for the 360 PS3 row, 'the PS3 has potential' - It has had potential since launch but has yet to show it other than one or two stand out exclusives. While games are produced in the main on both platforms, sadly it never will reach its potential. As for the blu-ray player argument, you can buy better now. At a much reduced price.
  3. I tried getting this at the weekend but it had sold out. There seems to be a shortage of stock for it. Now FFXIII is out of the way, I'm tempted to get this but need to somehow get back into Bioshock 2 which hasn't exactly had me in raptures. Haha.
  4. Devs are working on a patch to address this. I hope this free-roaming is more GTA4 than Far Cry 2. What a total disaster Far Cry 2 was. Simply awful. Shall probably get this, but I hate to say it, Mario Galaxy 2...
  5. It surprises me that this one has remained well and truly off the radar until literally a week before release. It just goes to show these days what the so-called big names in gaming bring in terms of cash and profit. COD, GTA, Halo, Gears all hyped up whether or not it's deserved and we hear about them literally from day one of development until release 2 years down the line. This Red Dead is meant to be better than GTA4. It's averaged 95% from 20 reviews on metacritic so it must pack some sort of punch. It even scored 90 in Edge. I think it's worth a punt. 50 hours into FFXIII though, I need to finish that one off. Also, this Alpha Protocol, while off-thread, looks interestin'. Out end of the month.
  6. Terminator Salvation. I was surprised at how good this was considering it got dodgy reviews on release.
  7. Drag me to Hell. Has to be one of the most comical 'horrors' I've ever seen. The ending was a surprise though, as if endings always end well... Worth a watch on dvd.
  8. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This was, surprisingly, quite good.
  9. Frigging side lights on with those damn stupid fog lights lit down the frigging A6 in misty, damp, drizzle weather conditions. No, it does not look HARD. Idiots.
  10. Anyone seen Saw VI?
  11. Saw 2 is the weakest of the 5 so far. Saw is good, 3 is pretty good as well and ups the gore count considerably and 4 kinda follows alongside 3 as that plays out. The ending of Saw 5 is immense and sets up things nicely for 6, out on Oct 23rd. The rumour mill is well and truly running as far as the Saw series goes. Jigsaw isn't who you think he is people. Watched Defiance last week. That was pretty good. Have Eagle Eye now to watch. Any good?
  12. Eden Lake. Absolutely brutal.
  13. Glad everyone is agreeing with my taste in films! Could the mods do a film/tv section like we have for the computer section? Then we wouldn't have pages and pages of different films under a single thread. Latest releases could be discussed, dvds, tv series, that kind of thing. Good/bad idea?
  14. I agree with you there. So I waited for the dvd. It's defo worth a rental.
  15. Taken. Quality film, everyone must see this. Liam Neeson. 93 minutes will fly. Good thriller/action and some humour in there (albeit violent humour if you get me).
  16. Watched 'Hancock' last week. What a complete waste of time. One of the crappest films I have ever seen and surely the worst to star Will Smith. Shameful.
  17. Just watched the new Indiana Jones movie. That was a lot of fun. Why did this film get slated when it came out? I was surprised at how good it was considering all the negatives on release. Ok, so it doesn't have the class of the third, but it's easily as good as the second and first (in parts). I'd recommend it.
  18. ...is pants apparently.
  19. Saw V - These films just keep getting more and more clever.
  20. The film has averaged 89% from 33 reviews on metacritic so it must be at least half decent. Anyone on here seen "Drag me to Hell" yet?
  21. Dark Knight. Great stuff. I bought the dvd. I hardly buy any dvds!
  22. Predator on Sky1 right now. And methinks its the unedited version. "Come on... Come on! Do it! Do it! Come on. Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Come on! Do it now! Kill me!" "Get to the chopper!"
  23. You must watch it! I'm going to see it again.
  24. I watched Untracable last night on dvd and it was bloody awful. Star Trek has to be seen one more time at the big screen - sheer brilliance that was last week.
  25. Basic Instinct ITV2. Eye candy, now that's what I'm talking about...
