True fair point . People were saying you can clearly see there was a touch and the ball moved etc . I presume the officials just missed it and they didn’t communicate to check - as you say can happen . Well that is what happens with VAR. One minute everyone hates it then when something happens like in the EFL play offs without the system people ask “do they need VAR “?

They were in such a shock to be attacking on goal Sunderland didn’t know what to do there .
