Few teams have tried it in the past I think? Apparently the Bournemouth manager got booked for demanding a yellow card in the game - maybe even for the incident that saw Boly sent off ? So presumably they’d be kicking off if a red card hadn’t been given or a penalty awarded later in the game and Forest won?

No but people don’t seem to be aware of that even the Forest manager . It’s a classic example of the sort of conversation that took place before VAR after a controversial decision. Seen some refs (presumably) say winning the ball doesn’t matter as Boly went in with force and and not in control of his actions

Yes shame really -dominates so much . Mind you Forest fans aren’t happy with the lack of coverage over the decisions against them .

Funny you say that as Forest favs are going potty that they didn’t discuss the Boly red card seriously or not for long . But yes you are quite tight - most of these shows are VAR dominated .

Ha yes seems so ! I think they are planning to but when it got reported a few weeks back were lots of complaints that more VAR would ruin the game more by taking even further time out of the game etc . Probably because everyone is fed up with it ! And who knows what way the decision would go if it was used.

2 yellows according to the BBC. You are right it was harsh . I thought people didn’t want VAR and were quite happy to accept refs decisions on the pitch even if it was “wrong “ though ?

VAR isn’t used for 2nd yellow cards .

Whoever is on VAR will probably get blamed/criticised for getting involved etc .
