His Southampton team did press high and their turnover stats were decent in the championship, they scored more goals than Enzos LCFC did from open play and he did show a little bit of flexibility moving to a back 3 when he played Leeds and West Brom towards end of that season which is more than Cifuentes or Rowett showed any signs of doing. Totally agree. Issue we have is that the players who may be suited to it are the ones all on rotten sums of money / attitudes and will have to be moved on, and we don’t have a ball playing goalkeeper at the club (unless Vieites is.) With our financial situation the best thing to do would have been to build a squad of more direct players and scrappers, a bit like Hull did this season in the championship. At complete odds with whatever our board are doing.
