If we are in EFL and they embargo us, we will still be able to sign out of contract players and 6 month loans to ‘staff up’ to a squad of 23. One glimmer of positivity in the policy we appear to have of discounting our u21s from playing a part this season is they won’t have the standing to count in our 23 man squad, so there’ll be plenty of room few new signings on frees and loans even if we are under embargo. Not ideal, but would enable us to reinforce the squad to an extent.
