Absolutely gash, could play all day and not score
-
Yep, Mavididi, Choudhury and Reid, that’ll get us goals. Rowett clearly doesn’t want the job beyond this season, absolute cluster**** of a team Thank the Lord we signed Strolling Joe Aribo in Jan, what a contribution he’s made.
-
We will either have our arses handed to us or get yet another draw with Rowett pointing out that we won on xG

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

Most likely thing would be for the club to mothball a significant part of the site and keep many of the facilities ticking over so they don’t fall into disrepair. Just sums up the ineptitude and hubris of the ownership and senior executives at this club that we end up with two training bases in completely different parts of the county, and both men’s and womens teams nowhere near the top level -
Exactly as you’d expect from the culture of this fetid rotten organisation. Little wonder no manager of any standing would touch us with a barge pole with that grade a loser running the show

Pompey have won more games in 4 days than we have in over 3 months. What a ****ing shambles this shitshow of a club is

Would rather we are given an embargo for the next couple of years and scrape our way through league one seasons than give Glover and the rest of the incompetent bellends any more opportunity to piss money away on awful players. This seasons 2 windows combined has resulted in 1 decent acquisition. Last seasons not even that given El Khannous’ character massively dubious. That’s 1 decent signing across 4 windows combined. Less than 3 months ago with it abundantly clear the financial meltdown we are in, promotion impossible, we decide to spend god knows how much a week on Joe Aribo and fail to get a striker in. Beyond criminal. We would genuinely be better off not getting anyone else in at all until Glover and whichever idiots he uses as scouts have all ****ed off.

Will need to sacrifice as many home grown players as we can for pure transfer profit as there’s not a hope of getting more than book value for any of the others. Nelson and Monga obvious, Page too possibly. Maybe Wilder will have Choudhury from us fingers crossed for a couple of million. Will probably more likely to be loaning the players with high wages - Kristiensen, Okoli, Faes, Winks and Skipp.

Took Sunderland 4 years to come back without any points deductions. Ipswich 4 years and three of them were mid-table. Bolton 7 years now out of the champ including a season in league two following admin. Given the fact we are not far off insolvent and the absolute state of our squad league one very possibly our level for a good number of years.
-
Nice guy, was a superb player, should’ve hung his boots up or walked away from us at the end of last season. Never going to be the voice the team needed this year. Awful end to his time here, will be damned by association with the charlatan bastards we have had to watch all year.
-
It’s going to be a very long and frustrating summer given how many players still under contract we are going to have to move on before we can add to the squad. If the club had any bollocks whatsoever it would set aside a corner of Seagrave and tell Faes, Vestergaard, Okoli, Kristiensen, Winks, Choudhury, Skipp, Mavididi, Fatawu, and BDCR they are training pre season away from the rest of the squad on their own and won’t be considered for selection so basically find another club and **** off there as fast as you can.
-
You realise what an absolutely desperate situation we are in when you look at the size of the squad we will be paying through the close season. Even after getting rid of everyone out of contract by my count there’s 28 or 29 players you’d think would train with the first team. That’s absolutely horrific. All very well saying that they are a load of mercenaries but who’s to say other clubs will want them. We will need to shift at least 10 of these in addition to the out of contract shite before we can even think about adding to the squad with the sort of player we need in this division. Anyone who thinks next season will be a success is in for a cruel shock.

Winks Mavididi Choudhury Ayew Probably

He sounded like he had absolutely no idea what to do with the shitshow of a squad he’s got. Paraphrasing, they only want to score the perfect goal, they aren’t a dark arts team, can only play one way, need to just do the basics, keep on making avoidable mistakes, need to take a bit of responsibility, and if we don’t win next weekend there’s no way back. Refreshingly honest from a manager on one hand, the words of someone who knows it’s already all done on the other. Dont think that fits in well with Top and Rud****s narrative
-
Need to be clinical we are creating the chances been unlucky with injuries don’t think we aren’t all working hard unfortunate for the goal I would imagine

It’s ok though we’ve got the dynamic trio of Ayew Reid and Strolling Joe to put the fear of god into Preston second half.
