Just seen this. Zear0‘s explanation of what a VPN does is spot on, but my own experience is rather more positive. I use Cyberghost and my subscription allows use across multiple devices - so, for example, I use it on my iPhone, iPad, two PCs and a laptop. It’s great for streaming City matches, but I also use it to hide my UK IP address, so I don’t get spammed like I used to.
