Can’t help but feel he’s still not well as you’d thought he’d of been a shoe in for some of the vacancies that have come up. Had said on Allardyce’s podcast late last year that he’s ready to go again

I’ve just listened, Stowell is saying Pearson came to visit him and Cleverley at Plymouth. Where they’re both working.

Would imagine the above would only happen after the World Cup as Martinez is still Portugal manager. Mourinho widely considered to be taking over from him after the World Cup.

Good idea for a thread, had something England related to post the other week (which I've forgotten) and had nowhere to put it. 

This is all so exhausting. They probably don't feel a need to have one in for the weekend because its "only" the cup - if they manage to get to the next league game with King still in charge then we've reached new levels.

Think Drinkwater has said as much on a podcast before hasn't he? Could never find him when it came to needing to talk to him.

Dyche would keep us up, but maintain what I said in the summer that he would be an absolutely dire fit here long term and you'd end up having to pay to sack him within a year. If you could get him on a short term deal then great, ideal,  but there's little chance of him coming full stop let alone short term.
