I think this is a bad take. He's not overrated to that level - it's as simple as he's been a key player in a team that has finished 3rd and has absolutely never, ever let England down. We have picked a played that bottom half Newcastle wouldn't consider first choice in his position. Not even getting into my opinion he's our best player aerially and we are quite literally taking Arsenal's two set piece takers - that team that are the best in the world at what they do. On a better note, He was genuinely one of the best right backs in the premier league in his peak but those unlucky injuries killed him. Stayed and absolutely dragged us back to the premier league under Enzo along with KDH when he was way too good for the league.
