  1. It’s just not our day today unfortunately.
  2. That's it, it wasn't even close in the end.
  3. and we took 4 of those point off Tottenham What was their excuse.
  4. Froch is a warrior, I'm glad he's retired though, He's had some brutal fights over the years and that can take it's toll on a fighters well being, and apart from him being a notts forest fan he actually comes across as a decent guy. He's had success and he's got respect so nothing more to prove for the guy.
  5. I really hope never leaves us.
  6. He might be right, It's our job to prove him wrong! It's a funny old game!
  7. I know he was on loan, just thought it was interesting how he's doing! Pretty well by the looks of it.
  8. Tottenham have announced that Steffen Freund is to take up the role of International Technical Coordinator. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9407058/premier-league-tottenham-have-announced-that-steffen-freund-is-to-take-up-the-role-of-international-technical-coordinator
  9. We did own the championship!
  10. I don't need to, what you wrote is still in the thread. You're opting for a mid table finish and no cup, over a relegation battle and the FA cup. I bet you in 20 years time the Wigan fans will still smile about the FA cup they won over a mid table finish in the premiership. Like I say each to their own!
  11. I guess the FA cup really isn't that important to some people then, I know I'd bloody love that cup siting in our trophy room. Each to their own!
  12. To be honest there wasn't much thought involved with my first comment!
  13. Maybe we should play hoofball like Stoke! It's helped them a lot in the premiership!
  14. Wouldn't it be great if Upson scores the winning goal against the bubble blowers!
  15. I play it, it's a good game.
  16. Did anyone see the latest interview on ringside with froch, groves and Eddie Hearn? Groves is definitely under the skin of froch, froch had tears in his eyes and could hardly speak, his head was gone. I hope this next fight is as good as the last, I also hope above all else that both fighters finish the fight with no serious health problems. That interview made me think about all the big shots froch has taken over the years, maybe it's effecting him now. Froch is a great fighter and he comes across as quite a good chap, so I hope he's ok.
  17. I had a look on a Liverpool forum to gauge their views, there's a little bit on there about it. http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/352687-Football-League-clubs-unanimously-back-safe-standing-in-the-Championship At least they're speak sense.
  18. I can't wait for this, the last fight was a cracker! Hopefully this will be clear cut.
  19. It's funny because the last photo in that article had virtually all of the Liverpool fans were standing up, which completely contradicts the point of the article . If the majority of the Liverpool fans in the Kop want to stand maybe Its time to make it safer. Also maybe someone should explain to these dangerous standers there will still be seats for them to rest safely. I really want to see safe standing in this country, I think it's a cracking idea.
  20. Radio one news is looking at the safe standing at football on today's show, it could be quite interesting.
  21. Froch wasn't anywhere near winning in the points, he was coming back into it and it looked like a brilliant fight, then the ref got the points leader in a headlock for safety reasons and stopped the fight! I think a rematch and a new ref should sort it, Froch got the benefit if the doubt for 8 rounds, the contender gets rocked and it's a protective wrestling move! This is a human error, and the fight was unresolved.
  22. I think you'll need a DSLR and a zoom, here's a good site for a few tips http://photo.net/learn/aerial/primer
  23. Thanks Mikey, I was trying out my new wide angle lens. I got down quite low at the bottom of the rocks to try and show the harsh terrane. It's a beautiful view from up there, a bit windy though
