Fulham v Leicester City - 24 Aug 15:00

There is a very small boozer when you come out of Putney Bridge Tube Station called the 8 Bells. On the same side of the river but other side of the bridge you have the Dukes Head & Half Moon pubs. Large with gardens but no Sky if you want to watch early footy. Half Moon is an iconic music venue in London. You can actually see Craven Cottage from The Dukes Head on the other side of the river. East Putney there is the East Putney Tavern opposite tube station & The Prince of Wales a bit further down towards the High Street.. No Sky there either. If you turn left out of East Putney there are a number of cafe/restaurant places until you get to the main crossroads (100 yards or so) of Putney High Street & there are 2 large pubs on each corner. the railway, 3 storey with huge room garden & my local of 15 years, The Fox & Hounds. Both have Sky & my boozer has around 16 screens there, inside & in the garden. On the High Street itself is the Spotted Horse, has a roof garden no Sky & further down as you walk towards Putney Bridge itself there are 2 bars down Lacy Road called The Coat & Badge & Jolly Gardeners. Both have gardens. If you did decide to come to Putney for a beer your best bet would be to take the Victoria Line from St Pancras to Vauxhall & Train into Putney Station (my usual route to & from Leicester) located at the top of the High Street. there you have the option to cross over the road to The railway or The Fox & Hounds or turn right & walk down the High Street towards Putney Bridge itself. Walking to the ground would take around 20-30 minutes, depending on where you park up in Putney for a beer, through Bishops Park on the Fulham end of Putney Bridge. Bar the Railway, The Fox & Hounds is cheapest for beer, between £4 & £5 a pint depending on your tipple. Morettis etc a tad more & if you do want to watch some early footy The Fox is the best place I reckons due to the number of screens available. Railway & Coat & Badge also have Sky. There are a couple of boozers literally on the Fulham side of Putney Bridge like The Temperance & The Kings Arms, 5 mins walk from Putney Bridge Tube Station, & more boozers further into Fulham but I dont really venture over there but some places like The Golden Lion, on a match day will be for home supporters only with match/season tickets. -

There is a big Wetherspoons called The Rocket right on Putney Bridge by the river & some 50 yards from that a boozer called the Boathouse (not a Wetherspoons though). If the sun is out its a fine place to park up & sit outside (large outside area for sitting/standing leading to the river) with a few cold ones before 20 or so minute walk to The Cottage. -
Good point. That does still happen TBH from what ive been told. In fact I know of some away fans (who drank in my Putney local) who have bought a ticket in the "Fulham end" & just walk along the concourse/stand to where the away fans sit & just stand up at the back without any real hassle, if any at all. & if any empty seats just take it.
-
I am pretty sure my Fulham supporting pals have said the "neutral" end was done away with in terms of seating when the new stand began construction to fit in more home fans. I think it is now divided in terms of home/away seating but the concourse itself is still mixed fans.

😂😂 ticket gone anyway bud.

TICKET NOW GONE. Alas work have roped me into the office tomorrow afternoon so unable to go to game so I have my 1 adult ticket available in Upper Stand Block Y6 at face value. I do live in SW London so may suit a London Fox?

Going to see Noel Gallagher & Johnny Marr @ the Crystal Palace Bowl tonight. Also Primal Scream & Jesus & Marychain on August 4th & James & Happy Mondays on August 11th. Both also @ Crystal Palace Bowl.

In in Fox and Hounds Putney. My local. Home pub kinda on match days but always see away fans in here.

When I come back to Putney from Leicester I take Victoria Line tube to Vauxhall then train to Putney. Around 30 odd mins mins all in. Or you can take Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court then District Line to Putney Bridge or Victoria Line to Victoria then District Line to Putney Bridge.

Good morning. If a spare is going for this locally living chap near Fulham it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise it's a home end job with me Fulham pals! 😄🤦🏼🦊

Touching £4 a pint now in Fox!! Still enjoy it there though. Great gaff to watch footy & other sports. Great sessions when Fulham at home. Great crack.Got TVs in booths in the garden now. Used to just have the 1 TV screen. Wetherspoon's on river (The Rocket) still going strong. Toy Shop Bar long gone now. Shame, good quirky pub. There was a Wetherspoon's opposite The Fox called The Railway but that's gone as well. Now a bloody Revolutions Bar

This is my "home" game living in Putney so fingers crossed I get a ticket although I can sit in with me Fulham pals in home end if needs be. The landlord of my local, aptly names The Fox.... and Hounds, decided to tell me the pub will be for home fans only that day! I know he is jesting of course, I hope.

A big thank you to @blurryface for ticket transaction which was so seemless & I had my Chelsea ticket in my hand within 2-3 days of first touching base, bearing in mind I live in London it was effortless. We had a good chat during this process & seems a sound fella. Have no problem in recommending him to anyone for possible future transactions. But get in the queue behind me! Thanks again pal.

Nice fella as well. Happily recommend as a seller to anyone in the future. Thanks again pal. Shame about result but saw it coming with Roma on the horizon 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻👏🏻😄🦊⚽️

If anyone is getting the train from Vauxhall to Brentford & fancies a cheeky beer in Putney (12 mins away from Brentford on train) & has a spare ticket then feel free to pop in the Fox Public House, (my local) 60 second walk from station where I will wait with baited breath Or just pop in for a beer anyway -

If anyone can't make it I'll happily take 1 adult ticket off your hands. Thank you. -
Just wish to belatedly thank @dmayne7 for sorting out Palace ticket last week. Met at Wimbledon Station on the Saturday as both local. Had a quick chat. Friendly fella & sat with him & his mate on match day. Great company & if anyone gets tickets off him in the future you will have no problems at all. Safe as houses. Unlike our defence! 🤦🏼♂️ thanks again Dave 👍🏻👏🏻
