I didn't rate Long Run today. As to whether his jumping has improved - he appeared to be jumping to the left esp 3 out when he cut across The Giant Bolster. However the time put in for the race is fairly decent. Zarkander was lucky to win. Very talented horse but almost came unstuck when AP decided to fall in front of him. How he escaped injury I do not know. Unlike Derek O'Connor who had a very nasty fall yesterday on Simonsberg. Broken leg. Saturdays football bets. Norwich are an excellent price at 10/11 with Ladbrokes and Coral

A friend of mine who is a bit of a bumper expert reckons Leighinmohr will win in the 4:45 at Musselburgh. It is priced at 5/2 with Betfred, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power. The race is certainly between that and the favourite Makari.

Barwell Bridge in the 4:25. Generally 7/2. With jumpers for bumpers type racing the following two attributes are very important. 1) Goes on the surface. 2) Decent flat record. This horse ticks both boxes and is a course winner. The recent form over hurdles is good - albeit over a longer trip. He is a winner over 1m2f at this course and is a pace horse (led, chased leaders etc). This style of running is of a great advanage around this course. The only negative is that under new trainer Warren Greatrex, new tactics have been developed. These are for the horse to be held up. GIven that it is quite well known that front running horses fair better around the AW at Kempton the previous tactics may not be deployed. The distance over 2m reduces the problem but the horse can still find problems in running being forced out wide around the last bend as there are 16 runners in this race.

This isn't a tip just a piece of info. In the bumper meeting at Kempton this afternoon, the 3:50 has The Wicked Kipper running (Cue Cards full sister). She was 7 / 8/1 this morning and has been backed into 11/4. Obviously a market move like this is worth taking into account... Forgot to mention the paper prices - 14/1. These prices are fairly accurate as to how the market should be on horse form alone as they are compiled by people with knowledge.

hmm. Took to the front a bit too early? I thought Adam Kirby was giving the horse a very good ride, coming around the last bend into first place and cruising along. Unfortunately the horse decided to wander a bit. The interference by the winner didn't help. Conclusion: could have won if hadn't gone to the front too early. At least my placepot is still going strong. But my jackpot has ended after leg 2. Damn.

Laser Blazer in the 2:50 at Kempton. You can get 5/2 with StanJames and PaddyPower. 9/4 generally elsewhere. Roulette is luck. Also the odds are in favour of the casino. Avoid roulette like the plague...

I've seen that site before. It was linked somewhere as a reference point for something involving Leicester. I think it was when I was researching the EDL to see what they were up to so [honestly!] its either a edl link or a left wing link. Probably used by a right wing group considering the site [stonegate] appears to be hiding zionistic intentions? edit: this is the link to the piece I saw. I think it was from the edl page on why Leicester was a city to choose. http://www.stonegateinstitute.org/1971/europe-most-islamic-community ????The author for the Leicester piece is responsible for the piece on dogs in the hague and a lot more anti islamic 'news' pieces on that site. The previous 'zionistic intentions' that I wrote? Well the author appears to be Jewish and American....

Winner. So far in 2012 on foxestalk (not including the 'speculative' bets i posted): 4/9 winner 5/2 lost (by a neck finished 2nd) 12/1 lost 6/4 winner 10/3 winner +3.27 with a strike rate of 60%

Cut the Cackle 2:00 Lingfield. Generally 3/1 or 10/3 in Corals. Ran on well to get second from a bad draw last time out at Kempton. It was a decent test of a race as well. Also got cut up by the winner and 3rd well inside the final furlong which more or less lost the race. Taking into account the bad draw, well run race, serious problem in running - quite clealrythis horse is well handicapped.

Finnegan Paddy 2nd by a neck. Cristal Bonus 4/9 winner... they all count. Will have one at Ascot tomorrow.

Finnegan Paddy in the 1:35 (a bit late I know) at Chepstow Edit: And Crystal Bonus in the 1:45 at Chepstow FINNEGAN PADDY IS AT CATTERICK

Well done. Passato, generally 12/1, in the 3:50 at Taunton each way.

Anyway after a second look at the card at Kempton I have got 2 ew bets and a favourite. These are just 'interest' bets so don't put much on. They are not going on my blog. Gazboolou generally 20/1 each way in the 7:25 Sunset Boulevard generally 8/1 9/1 in the 5:55 [this is an incredibly poor standard of race with absolute donkeys in it so don't put much on] If you like backing faves: Dark Ranger in the 6:55 - generally 11/4 or 5/2. If you enjoy speculative accas (like many of you do on here with regards to football bets), or want to have a small bet - a small ew (I would suggest equally divided) patent might be an option (5pew = 70p) pays out over £50.

Winner I don't have any on the aw today.

Carrigmorna King 2:05 Newbury. Generally 6/4. I might have one at Kempton later. For January on my Blog I have put up 10 bets with 6 winners (7 including the 10/1 placed 3rd when advised ew). Ranging from 10/11 to 7/1. I do quite well in these two months so my blog should catch up for the dreadful december. Winners 1pt at 5/2 1pt at 7/1 2pts at 6/4 3pts at 6/5 2pts at 10/11 1pt double 10/11 and 6/5 Placed 3rd at 10/1 1pt ew Losers 7/2 (which should have bloody won got caught on the line by a 25/1 outsider...) 9/2 11/2 (in the same race as the 9/2) and

Castlemorris KIng in the 3:10 at wolverhampton. Was 12th in the Derby (possibly entered only to allow owners a day out). However a class 5 handicap is somewhat lower in standard! The trainer has said that the horse has matured over the summer during a break and is well improved. Connections obviously think the horse still has potential as it hasn't been gelded. Won two at c+d in class 6 handicap. Previous race to this it won comfortably (with the same jockey as well). Horse never appeared to break a sweat as it comfortably accelerated away from the field and was still going away at the post. Albeit a rise of 6lbs (and up in class), the handicapper did not get carried away. It should easily defy the rise in weights. Was 4/1 yesterday in Hills is now generally 3/1.
-
They were absolutely shocking in the first half. Didn't bother watching the 2nd half. My blog pulled up a 9/1 winner today (albeit it went off as the 7/2f).
-
My site Criticisms of my spectacular accumulators aside, my tips are pretty good.
-
Possibly but you may need to check out how to get the money out of the account IF you make anything out of the £10.

Does anyone do perms rather than accas? I did a spell where I was doing (for example) 7 selections and 5 or 4 folds (21 and 35 bets respectively). I thought that (and it appeared to be heading that way) in the long run I would have a higher profit margin.
