I like Charlotte too, I suppose Elizabeth and Diana were always going to part of her name.  William and Kate have changed my view on royality, Diana always seemed approachable but Charles always came across a bit odd and they looked really awkward together, but william and Kate are great and very likable and it's nice to have the worlds attention on this little island, let's face it few countries get that for positive stories.

Indeed, they do a lot of good for us I think.  Clearly the Royal family are nothing at all to do with our political process and they should not be anything other than closely informed as head of state.  I see no reason to want to be a Republic - how very French that would be.

Maybe all the land that is owned and could be put to better use? Don't see why they don't just give 90% of it back to the people who it should belong to.
