Some people think it's a put up job, to keep the price below £25m. There are certainly doubts being express in a national newspaper. the implications seems to be based on the fact Newcastle already have four specialist centre forwards + Kluivert on £3.3m and the Newcastle Chairman, Freddy Shepherd's son Kenny works for Paul Stretford, Rooney's Agent. Incestuous or what. Never Trust anyone involved in Football Transfers
Wellman Posted 26 August 2004 Posted 26 August 2004 man u's strike force would be amazing if they got Roooooooooooooooooney. Van Nistlehorse, Saha, Smithy, Rooney, and bellion
Oli Posted 26 August 2004 Posted 26 August 2004 Iam hoping he goes to Newcastle, Man Utd think they are too good already. He would be an amazing signing if Newcastle pulled it off, hopefully they do!!
Scow Posted 26 August 2004 Posted 26 August 2004 Can't see why Rooney would want to go to Newcastle - Hardly a massive step up. But it won't happen anyway.
davieG Posted 26 August 2004 Posted 26 August 2004 I would be surprised if Chelski come in last minute 15323[/snapback] You would be or You wouldn't be

Unless you don't want to move you should go for what ever it is you want, money, trophies etc
Guest freund Posted 26 August 2004 Posted 26 August 2004 you could go for more money then ome back when your old and fat
Ric Flair Posted 27 August 2004 Posted 27 August 2004 Wayne Rooney will be signing for Man United over the next few days for a fee between £23-25 million plus either Bellion of John O'Shea according to a few of the papers. Now, that's good business in my opinion. The chap has only played two seasons and although he has looked unstoppable for England he has looked dodgy at times for Everton, so to get £25-30 million for him is great business. For all Man United know he could buckle under the pressure and it could be £25 million horribly spent, although I doubt it as nothing seems to phase him even a 48 year old goat with herpes and a face like a bag of smashed twats.

Ric Flair Posted 27 August 2004 Posted 27 August 2004 Rooney has just handed a transfer request in!!!!!! Ooh ya devil.

They seriously need to strengthen their squad because they're going to struggle big time this season. If they get O'Shea/Bellion, then even better. Although, I can't see Fergie giving up O'Shea, someone who he highly rates.
