joshjana10 Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 He'll take a good look at the squad, assess where he feels we need to strengthen in order to suit his style and bring in 3 or 4 players. With that, there just isn't enough space in the squad and also, we can't just keep buying players forever. Players are assets. At some point, there will have to be a degree of balancing the books, so expect some of Pearson's stars to go. Vardy, Schlupp, Konch and Nugent will be high on the list I would think to A. Make space and B. Bring a bit of money in. schlupp just signed new 4 year deal for a start, vardy will prove his worth in training alone, nugent and konch i agree with purely on age alone but still feel nugent in training will show his commitment
RowlattsFox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 I fear for matty James due to his injury, he doesn't have the chance to impress and by the he comes back the squad could look very different.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 I'm hoping Ranieri adopts the 'everybody has a chance to prove themselves' mentality. This squad was cohesive. I think it'd be wrong to dismantle it all too quickly. Morgan included. That said, I'd be fine with offloading Simpson for instance. I think he was rubbish.
