We therefore say 'a university'. The U in umbrella is pronounced as a vowel sound ( Λ using the phonetic alphabet) and so we use 'an'. The Blur Posted 2 August 2015 Author Posted 2 August 2015 Hats off to General Smuts who dominated this round fuelled by his rage at missing the last round which helped him to claim 15 points, Facecloth claimed he had a bad week but he did well to finish level on points for this round with The Doctor which do not bode well for the competitiveness of the league! To carry on in the vein of Smuts' distasteful joke-a shout out to Howl who started well with 3 points to win his group and to knock out the current FT Football Trivia Cup (I really need a new sponsor next season because it is a mouthful!*) holder StanSP out. Wookie, that Sicily answer did not cost you in the end anyway! Well done to all posters who made it out of their groups but now there is no hiding or second chances, from next month you all will need to bring your A Game on the table to progress further.
