ScouseFox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Did you ever see him again? yeah he was a regular and a nice guy. he never knew he was overpaid as I told him the wrong odds hence the payout was too much. he'd probably have given it us back if we'd asked, too.
Ashley Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 He said he withdrew the money. Bookies can reverse withdrawals, no? Check Soccerway and Futbol24 for the results
tommyh Posted 4 August 2015 Author Posted 4 August 2015 Not sure what tommy or everyone else thinks but maybe as a one off some of us could chip in a few quid to give him enough to go on hoilday. Only need 60 people on here to chip in £10. What do you think? Really nice thought but no thanks
tommyh Posted 4 August 2015 Author Posted 4 August 2015 First of all, why would you book a holiday with the money and not take it out of your account first? Secondly you sound like you have a gambling problem, why bet on some random Brazilian match in the middle of the night so you can't even enjoy the thrill of watching the match with your bets on? You don't even check your bets just your balance, which implies that you put a lot of bets on. You also said that you wanted to spend the money on a holiday before you lost it again, even more reason to withdraw it straight away. Go and cancel your holiday, then cancel your Coral account, stop wasting money on betting put a little away each month and you will soon save up enough for a holiday. First of all, why would you book a holiday with the money and not take it out of your account first? Because i had been paid the day before and usually if you make a withdrawal it takes a few days to go into you bank balance, and also i had a double on and one of the matches was until Saturday night. Usually put £100 into my account on the 1st weekend of every month and have a play throughout the month so what?! I checked my bets history which clearly had told be these bets had won and had paid out, why then would i go searching the internet for a games final result etc? i dont care about the match result, Coral told me myu bets had won so i was happy! Go and cancel your holiday, then cancel your Coral account, stop wasting money on betting put a little away each month and you will soon save up enough for a holiday. HAHA sorry Dad
tommyh Posted 4 August 2015 Author Posted 4 August 2015 As harsh as this sounds, I think you are probably right. I'm no saint when it comes to betting but there have been some very silly irrational decisions made, that have caused this ridiculous situation. Silly decisions?? What like using my winnings on something worthwhile?
Facecloth Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Silly decisions?? What like using my winnings on something worthwhile? First thing I do when I win a bet is check the actual results. Usually because me winning is so infrequent I can't believe I've actually won. The second thing I do, if I'm going to take the money and treat my self is withdraw at and wait until the money has actually hit my bank account before making said purchase. Those are two glaring stupid decisions. One assuming the money was you, and the two, spending that money before you'd even got it.
