Wymsey Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 How often are insurance premiums usually updated/go down? My last accident was 8 months ago, which I was partly to blame for.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 How often are insurance premiums usually updated/go down? My last accident was 8 months ago, which I was partly to blame for. Insurance premiums fluctuate month on month. A few of the insurers I deal with give live rates so it literally changes constantly. If you've had a claim in the last 12 months I would suggest your existing insurers rate will go up even if you have protected no claims. However if you were to shop around, there's a good chance alternative companies will have a smaller loading for your claim and will therefore offer a cheaper price.
Fox92 Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 So I was just looking at renewing my car insurance, so I typed in the the postcode and address of my Leicester address (temporary) and ended up with a quote of £1300?! I then tried my Swindon address and got £645?! Anyone know what this is about? Town compared to City? Would that make a difference?
Bettsj2 Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Town compared to City? Would that make a difference? Dont wish to be a vague bastard but depends on the town or city.
