Suffolk_fox Posted 14 September 2005 Posted 14 September 2005 One of my customers used to make wedding cakes, and if they had just finished a cake when i visited them they would give me a big big lump of marzipan. YUM YUM!!! I would eat it on the walk back to the office.... At the moment, my cake of choice is Mr Kipling's Country Slices, though they are not mentioned on their website... http://www.mrkipling.co.uk/

Nationwider Posted 15 September 2005 Author Posted 15 September 2005 Jaffa Cakes are cakes 1. They are called "Jaffa cakes" (and I like to call a cake a cake) 2. When they go off (allegedly - I've never let this happen), they go hard. Old biscuits go soft, cakes go hard. I thank you.
