DangerFox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Seen as we all keep complaining about all the idiot pundits (mainly Lawro) out there for there terrible predictions, I thought I'd put up a website whose precictions, I actually trust the majority of the time. They base it on actual stats and facts. (Please learn Lawro, a feeling in "your bones", isn't a warranted reason.) They have us at 2-2 for the trip to Anfield. I'd take that right now but I'd have said that before the Everton game. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/959645/Preview/England-Premier-League-2015-2016-Liverpool-Leicester
FireFox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Don't know how they come up with their predictions, probably through stats... but the people who write for them are always good, never write us off or assume we will sell. I remember an article on Mahrez after Sunderland (or maybe West Ham) saying how he had the potential to rip the league apart.
Sampson Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 They've been counting down their top rated players in Europe for the whole of 2015 on sky's website. Already had Kante, Albrighton, Vardy and Fuchs in there with the top 25 tomorrow in which Mahrez is almost certain to be in there. Good times when Leicester have stastically 5 of the top 100 players in Europe this year.
NewEnglandFox Posted 25 December 2015 Posted 25 December 2015 Under the 3 bullet points and the score prediction there is always a "follow X on twitter" for the author. I believe the blurb and lineups are written by that author as if it was by stats RDL and Ulloa would be starting every game.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 25 December 2015 Posted 25 December 2015 The super computer which calculates form and recent visits etc... got us at 1-1... Lawro thinks we are unable to score against a very poor Liverpool defence though
Jordan Posted 25 December 2015 Posted 25 December 2015 I LOVE WhoScored. But Lawro's guesses, along with those of his weekly challengers, are all in the name of entertainment. It might not be great entertainment, but we shouldn't take it too personally when he picks Leicester to lose and Liverpool to win every game.
DangerFox Posted 26 December 2015 Author Posted 26 December 2015 Prediction was well off for this game. Oh well let's hope they predict a Leicester win against Man C!
