Saw him live in what was effectively a cow shed at Ingliston Market in Edinburgh in 1990.

Terrible venue and he only just managed to rescue the gig. Played all his best known songs though and I seem to remember that it was advertised as the last time he would play his hits.

Don't know if that's true but the Missus saw him in the 90's and only knew one song lol She was not happy.

I was in Brixton last week and went to the house he was born in. Haven't been up that road for 25 years. They moved to Bromley when he was two. It appears to be empty now - any takers? Properties in Brixton aren't cheap anymore.
