ealingfox Posted 4 June 2016 Author Posted 4 June 2016 All title-winning teams need to evolve. Teams will spend their pre-seasons learning to emulate and counteract the style of football we play. Nobody comes out the season after winning the league with the same team. We have one of the best scouts and scouting staff in Europe at the moment. Yeah it will be frustrating that we don't get any big names through the door and it might seem like a lack of ambition, I've already had to temper such feelings myself. You are doing the Club and the backroom staff a disservice if you don't think we have contingency plans for players leaving. Whether Vardy went or not, I'd wager the management team were planning to try and evolve our style to play to be less heavily reliant on him next season. That is logical and sensible. We have absolutely no reason not to trust them.
